Authoress' Notes:

"Alice Hated Her Mother" (American McGee's Alice) was the first of the "starter" fics. Starters are when my Creative Writing teacher, the gloriously awesome Mr. Albright, gives us a sentence or so and we work for a few minutes on a story based on that starter. I'm beginning to love making these things into fanfics, so I'll try to do that! This is starter number two, and was difficult. As a result, Raitei is a tad OOC.

Basically: get ready to meet Raitei's sadistic side.

I've always loved the smell of rainfall and gasoline…

It means my power is full. Ginji doesn't often let me out to play. But when the heavens crackle with power and the gasoline stings my nose, so easy to ignite, I can sometimes push through. I can break out for a minute or two, show the enemy what it truly is to challenge the Lightning Emperor. The Limitless Fortress is my true base of power… but any port in a storm, right?

I wish Ginji would let me out to play more often, though. It's so exciting. Like now.

The heavens are filled with power.

The gasoline's screaming to burn.

The enemy asks me for death.

Time to play.

Well? I know these are really short, but I want to keep them as what I wrote in class. This is kind of giving me a chance to see how well I can write and wrap up a story in a short amount of time.
