Archie sighed softly, twisting to look in the direction of Jay, Odie and the computer monitor, before wincing as his ankle gave a protesting pain at being moved.

Thanking Jay for wrapping it was as close to admitting his feeling for their brown haired leader as he probably was ever going to get.

It wasn't that Archie didn't know how he himself felt, and he had no doubts in his mind that Theresa knew it as well, he wondered briefly if it was her psychic abilities or if he was really just that obvious.

Archie just found himself confused as to why she kept insisting Jay stay with him, rather then go help when she, Atlanta, Neil and Henry were off trying to stop Cronus and Hecate.

It hurt when Jay just kept muttering that he should be there helping the others, translation being: there not here, but if you broke it down, Theresa.

Archie couldn't put any feeling of blame on her. Hell, Archie couldn't even blame Jay. He knew he wasn't a catch and it wasn't like it was the first time he fell for someone who wouldn't, like him back, Atlanta was proof enough of that.

As Archie watched Jay rushed to the others rescue, he just felt tired. Tired of his destiny, tired of the gods, tired of the other group members, even tired of Jay.

But most of all, Archie was tired of falling for the one person he could never have.
