Here Kitty

Natashou giggled cheerfully as he finished tying the last ribbon onto Arisada's dress. it was a Renaissance-inspired affair, with plenty of brocade and other period materials, in a gorgeous sky blue colour which he had decided would bring out the blonde's eyes- he'd always liked how green and blue complemented one another.

He was very careful with the dress, making sure that everything was just so. Lately, Arisada had mentioned on a few occasions that he wouldn't mind a little variety from the kimono that Natashou's soon-to-be predecessor so adored, so he had decided to try and please the princess by picking up on this. After all; Arisada was destined to be the next student council president, and if the president didn't approve of his appointment, then there wouldn't be a hope in hell of it getting through.

At just that moment, the young man himself knocked at the door, and let himself into the room where Natashou preferred to do most of his designing. There was something inspiring about being surrounded by beautiful creations, he thought. Quickly twisting around, the brunette angled himself so that Arisada couldn't catch even a glimpse of the dress. Arisada raised an eyebrow, but declined to comment.

"Good afternoon, Arisada-sempai," Natashou greeted him, bowing. Arisada returned the sentiment. -'Grief, how does he always manage to bow apparently without displacing even a hair?'- "Your dress is ready, Arisada-sempai," the designer told him, stepping aside to allow him the view of the garment he had so painstakingly created. Arisada stated his approval by taking one of the sleeves in his hand, noting the beadwork and embroidery (ah, the wonders of having a sister who could also sew- it was especially useful on large areas or intricate patterning, since her fingers were smaller than his), turning to Natashou and saying, simply:

"Wonderful."

Natashou was at the wrong angle to see the full-length mirror which adorned one of the walls, but he was quite sure that if he had looked in one, his face would have been absolutely beetroot red. The praise might not have been effusive, but it was heartfelt, and with a slight stutter, he thanked him for his kind words.

"But that isn't all you wanted to show me, is it?" asked the blonde, with a slight smile, and Natashou shook his head sheepishly, not particularly surprised that he had realised. Reaching behind a changing-room curtain, he brought out another manikin, this one with a very different outfit upon it.

Arisada observed the garment. It was certainly nothing like the Renaissance-era ballgown that he had just been shown. The dress was made of a smooth, slightly stretchy material in a soft pink shade, coming to just below the knee (to show off Arisada's lovely legs; if only it was just a bit shorter, thought Natashou- before shoving those thoughts to the mental box labeled 'Thing to Think About Later'). A tail came out of the behind, and the hands and feet of the manikin bore gloves and boots respectively, each in the shape of paws. He smiled approvingly.

"Nicely done, Natashou-kun. For cheerleading, I presume?" Natashou nodded, pleased with the outfit's reception. He was sure that the players would appreciate it greatly, especially when he added the last accoutrement. He smiled knowingly, and opened a nearby box to remove the crowning glory:

Cat ears.

Arisada turned his gaze to them for a minute, then turned to Natashou once more, giving him a blindingly white smile.

"Perfect." He said.
