Summary: Alice needs to get up the courage to talk to Frank.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the randomnosity of this plot and also, I love arms so Alice got that from me.

Rainy Mondays

a Siriusly Klutzy fic.

"Did you ever notice how nice Frank's arms are, Lily?" Alice sighed longingly, looking across the room at the arms of Frank Longbottom.

Lily, not looking up from her parchment, said, "No, Alice, I did not notice. I have, however, heard about them at least fourteen times in the last half hour."

"If they were Potter's arms you'd be in a frenzy right now," Alice pointed out.

"That's not true," Lily claimed, though her eyes darted to the other side of the room where James and the rest of the Marauders were in a heated game of chess.

"It is so."

Lily sighed. "You just need to go talk to him, Alice. He's not going to magically know you want to."

"Talk to him? Just go right up and talk to him?" Alice was a shy girl around people she fancied.

"It's not hard you know. You're talking to me right now!" Lily pointed out. She closed her book with her parchment inside and looked up at her friend who was now biting her lip. "You're going to look like you ate a cherry lollipop if you don't stop that."

Alice stopped gnawing and looked back at Lily. "But just look at them? How can one boy have such nice arms?"

"How can you possibly have an arm fetish?"

"They're just nice looking, that's all. All safe, and I bet they're warm, too." She went back into longing mode. Lily snapped her fingers in front of her face.

"Just go talk to him." Lily stood up and grabbed Alice's shoulders, trying to lift her off of the chair.

"I can't!"

"You're so shy! What's the worst thing that could happen?"

Alice pondered this. "Well, he could think I'm the ugliest thing on two legs and throw me out of that window-" she pointed to the Tower window- "to salvage the rest of man kind. And it's raining, Lily, so I'd get wet before I died."

Lily rolled her eyes before hoisting the small girl up.

"Or," she countered, "this could be what makes him fall madly in love with you and then you'll grow up and get married and have many little Franks and Alices running around." Alice blushed.

"I've always liked the name Neville..." she admitted quietly.

"Then you'll have thousands of little Neville's running around! Go or I'll show him all of the hearts you doodle with his initials."

"Aren't you supposed to be a prefect? Threatening other students, honestly."

"Go!"

Lily pushed her in Frank's direction. Alice stumbled over someones precariously placed books and walked shyly over to the boy with nice arms.

Lily smiled smugly to herself as she pulled her essay and book back onto her lap, not really paying attention as she watched Alice make her move.

"My, my, my..."

Lily groaned.

"Evans is our little matchmaker"

"Potter, go away."

"Not so fast. I wanted to see if you could set me up with a feisty little redhead with a nice bum."

"Potter!"

A/n: Mkay, another one of my random oneshots. This one, though, is basically an Alice/Frank one with a little of Lily/James (but not reallyish, I just wanted to add them in because they're perfect for eachother) in the end. I've never written an Alice/Frank one, so I don't know what to expect from you guys. Review if you liked it, I guess. I had fun writing it.

Much love and a ton of cookies,
