He wasn't tempted.

Not at all. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

His staring did not mean a thing. He just had nowhere else to look. She was standing with her back turned to him, still wearing their uniform since they'd just gotten out of school, and was chopping away on some fruits for them to eat as they watched the next episode to one of her silly romance dramas.

She always dragged him to her apartment to watch them as soon as she got a hold of the next episode. This week, they were watching a drama called Hana Yori Dango, one of the most popular dramas in Japan. Jin recalled his cousin, Asuka, once saying that "Romance dramas are written by sad, pathetic, hopeless romantics for sad, pathetic, hopeless romantics" and couldn't help but laugh at that.

He couldn't remember how many dramas he'd watched with her. It must've been at least over twenty. He never really paid much attention to them, anyway. What good would it do? He only liked spending time with her…alone. But of course, he was never tempted to do anything with her…Never.

Yet, there was something different today.

Did she grow a few inches in the past few days? Her legs looked longer…Or maybe her skirt got shorter. He didn't know, but he did know that he wanted to smack himself for thinking such inappropriate thoughts. Shaking his head, he crossed his arms over his chest and tried to tear his eyes away from her…back.

A lot of good that did him.

His eyes found their way back to her, eventually. Her hair was tied up into those cute pigtails, as they always were, revealing her bare neck…He really felt he deserved to be shot at this moment. She was so much younger than him! Three years, to be exact. He couldn't. She wouldn't.

Or would she?

Just what the heck was it about this girl that was so different today?

He let out an irritated breath, dropping his arms to his sides. He heard her put down the knife and watched as she picked up a white towel loosely hanging over a small silver rack to wipe her hands. He stepped closer to her, until their bodies were merely inches away from each other.

He saw her body stiffen. What was he going to? Even he, himself, wasn't quite sure.

"Xiao…" he said softly, closing his hands into tight fists as an attempt to refrain himself from touching her.

She slowly turned around, and looked up. He was staring down at her with a new kind of look. Her face was suddenly blushing.

He leaned down towards the shorter girl, making her step backwards and hit into the counter. He just needed to lean in a bit more and their lips could be touching.

Oh, what the hell. He held onto her face and moved in. Surprisingly, she didn't pull away. Her eyes shut automatically, as if she expected this to happen, and her arms had somehow found their way around his neck.

There was no use in denying it anymore.

He was so tempted. Always have been.

Ahh, okay, I so didn't plan on releasing another one-shot so soon! I've just been on this little Tekken-writing-phase this past weekend, I guess. I think this sounds a bit rushed, and totally not as good as my other one-shot (not that that one was all that good, either), but hope you guys like it! Please point out anything wrong with this! Thanks for reading!
