Chapter 1:

"Class I'd like you to welcome the new student. His name is Uchiha Itachi."

Welcome my ass. He didn't care if there was a new student. Having another classmate around wasn't helping his situation with Sasori so why should he care? He winced when he heard the annoying squeal of a whole bunch of fangirls. That Itchy guy, or whatever his name was, was going to have to run for his life very soon...

"Itachi you may go have a seat next to Akasuna Sasori."

WHAT?! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Itachi's Point of View (POV)

He felt like thanking his teacher. And in more ways than one. He wasn't sitting next a fangirl and he was sitting next to one hell of a hottie! Itachi stopped paying attention to the teacher to steal a glance at the redhead sitting next to him. A small blush tinted his face as he stared at Sasori's facial features. Oh how those reddish brown eyes were so captivating...

Suddenly Sasori turned to Itachi. Oh no! He was caught staring.

"Is there something bothering you? You've been staring at me for a while now..."

"N-No! Not at all. Sorry." He turned his attention back towards the teacher still blushing slightly in embarrassment.

And little did he know that not too far away, a pair of bright blue eyes was glaring at him.

Back to Deidara's POV

Was...Was he flirting with Sasori?! Why was that new guy blushing?! And why had Sasori talked to him?! Sasori rarely spoke to anyone! It wasn't fair. Deidara glared at Itachi. He had better not try to win Sasori over too. God Damnit!

The bell rung signaling that the students should head to their next class.

This might be a good opportunity to settle things with that new student! He grabbed his books and left the classroom. Deidara walked past Itachi while speaking in a low voice that only Itachi could hear.

"Stay away from Sasori."

Itachi, who had been at his locker turned around to find the source of the voice only to find he was gone.
