Quiet Thoughts in the Summer

For only a day, it seems like every day was summer to Haruna Morikawa. She was walking along the side of the river, seeing the current flow to the left. She breathed a huge sigh as she sat there and watched what the water flow down the river and heading down a wonderful hill. It was peaceful, listening to the birds chirping. It sounded like music to her.

She heard footsteps that were quiet. She turned around and looked at the trees to see who else but Shunsuke Hino, yawning as he was in the woods. He looked to his left and noticed Pink Turbo sitting there.

"So, had a nice sleep I suppose," said Haruna, eyeing at Shunsuke's pjs. Shunsuke looked at her like she had ten heads and then looked down to see yellow pants and a white t-shirt with brown slippers.

"Wow, I am really tired," said Shunsuke as he sat down and took a deep breath.

Haruna turned around and nodded, "So am I. I couldn't sleep last night."

Shunsuke turned over to her and asked, "Why?"

"I don't know. I have been in deep thought a lot recently," said Haruna, sighing.

She rested her back on some tree that was near old and raggedy. Shunsuke sat with her picking up leaves and takes pieces of it.

"So, what do you plan to do on a nice summer day like today?" asked Shunsuke straight up forward.

Haruna shook her head, "I don't know. I have no plans for today."

Shunsuke smiled and chuckled a little bit, "Come."

Haruna looked at Shunsuke, "What are we doing?"

"Just come," said Shunsuke. His voice sounded more enthusiastic than when he said come the first time.

"Okay," said Haruna, 'As crazy as it may seem.'

So, the two Turboranger walked out of the forest. Birds were still chirping away on a brisk summer morning as they got back into the city. They stopped at a nice restaurant where they could just chill out after a long day.

"So, why here?" asked Haruna.

"I felt like having some breakfast here," said Shunsuke.

Haruna eyed Shunsuke for a second.

"Shunsuke, tell me what's going on," said Haruna.

Shunsuke's face was red, like he was blushing. Next thing he knew, he locked lips with Haruna. Haruna broke away and looked at him with a crazy look.

"I'm sorry," said Shunsuke, "Just wanted to know what it felt like."

Haruna shook her head, "You don't need to be."

They went back to kissing intently. A few seconds later, Daichi walked in and saw the twosome kissing. Haruna, eye-widened broke the kiss.

"Hi Daichi," said Haruna, with a smile.

Daichi was very silent. He looked at them and nodded, "About time."

"What?" asked Haruna with an angry look.

"I was waiting for you people to confess your love for each other. Great thing Youhei wasn't here," said Daichi.

Haruna nodded as Daichi sat down with the twosome. Maybe that was what Haruna was thinking about last night…
