Hey, everyone! This is just a little oneshot to stretch my wings and get me back into the writing spirit after my big transition. It was inspired by a scene in Look Who's Talking, one of my favorite movies. Thanks for checking this out, and please remember to review!

Olivia was smiling as she looked at the box of the crib. Her bulging belly was very apparent through her shirt, and she rubbed it thoughtfully.

After opening the box, she dumped the items out and began sorting through them. The instructions appeared in the mess, and she picked them up and began reading over them.

"Are we ready?" Alex asked, carrying a toolset into the painted nursery.

Olivia nodded as Alex sat down beside her.

Alex leaned over Olivia's shoulder and read over the instructions, then began searching for the first piece.

"How hard can this be?" Olivia asked, laughing. Her husband had offered to do it for her, but she had refused. Putting a crib together involved no heavy lifting, and she needed something to do.

One hour later, Olivia was fuming. They had been working on this thing for an hour, and so far, they had only succeeded in putting the wrong parts together. And of course, they had to take them apart and start over.

Alex groaned and dropped her head.

The hammer was still in Olivia's hand, and with a growl, she began banging on the unassembled parts of the innocent crib.

Alex almost told her to stop, but a leg of the crib was taunting her, and she grabbed it and started swinging.

At the sudden racket, Elliot and John ran into the room, horrified at the sight in front of them. Elliot moved first, reaching Olivia's side quickly. With gentle hands, he stopped her and took the hammer, then knelt down and gathered her into his arms.

She fought against him for a moment, then buried her face in his chest and sobbed miserably. "Some assembly required!" she stuttered through her tears. "Some!"

"Shh, shh. I know," Elliot murmured in an attempt to comfort his distraught wife. "I know. The box lied."

"It always does!"

Munch looked on in amusement as Alex gathered her wits and dropped the crib leg.

Slowly calming down, Olivia peered out from Elliot's shirt and glared hatefully at the unassembled crib. "Some assembly my ass!" she growled, and Elliot couldn't help but smile and stroke her hair.

"I know, Liv. I know," he assured her, rubbing her belly. Only two more weeks to go...and a few more things with some assembly required to assemble. This was going to be fun.
