Because I won't
He wouldn't wipe that smile from his face and she knew why

Nick had expected the moment those words were ever spoken it would be over a romantic dinner or dare he think after falling over each other during a game of golf or in the kitchen.
It was going to so easy and prefect that never was sure who said it first.
Nick was quiet sure it wasn't going to be on a five minute coffee break during a triple murder case, but there they were those words that had plastered a grin over his face as she walked out of the break room.
She had left more then just a lingering kiss with him… despite the fact he probably just helped her with her case he couldn't help but replay the words again.
'God I love you cowboy' Nick smirks and the grins gains more space across his face that he didn't think was possible. Warrick makes his way into the break room and glances at Nick with a curious glance.
"hey man… what's up" he questioned making himself a coffee from the stash that Greg had been assured was only known about by the night shift team.
"nothing, why would anything be up" Nick questions sure the smile wasn't going to falter anytime soon, Warrick simply grinned and turned to his friend sipping his coffee with delight.
"looks like you just got kissed silly by you gal" Warrick pointed out, it had become a inside joke among them all when Nick had let it slip the pair were dating… he couldn't help it, the way she looked after being caked in dirt and mud just made him blurt out that he wanted to clean her up right there and then.
"something like that" Nick admits turning back to his own coffee… even though Greg's coffee was something to savour tonight it was even tastier.
"Well you best wipe that goofy grin off you face" Warrick ordered as Nick glanced at him and grinned even more.
"No way" Nick declares as Warrick shook his head and laughed "damn she must have told you then… I can't stand to work with the pair of you now… she's got the same grin" Warrick informs Nick who chuckles.
"You will have to stop grinning like though… I mean if she tells you that again" Warrick tells him as Nick pushes himself up draining the rest of his coffee then shakes his head.
He won't ever stop smiling any time she told him how she felt… because he won't ever stop being happy by being told that he was loved.
"Man I won't…just because I won't stop grinning every time she tells me she loves her cowboy" Nick declares receiving a laugh from his friend as the pair walk out of the break room.
He wouldn't stop because as far as Nick Stokes was concerned she wasn't going to stop telling how much she loved him… cowboy or not.
And he wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon either.
The end
Yep another one in the 'because' series… I'm back with the fluffy… I've got my fluffy back.
