Title: Mr. Bear

Summary: "So, shall we throw THIS out?" Cute LJ fluff. Though the bear is rather creepy…

Disclaimer: If I was JKR, I'd be figuring out ways to clone James, not writing. Well, actually, I'm trying to figure out ways to clone James anyways. Moving on…

A/N: Um…none? I'm sorry it's short? I'm having an updating spree?

"James, we have GOT to clear out the attic."

"OK."

"WHAT? Normally you vehemently protest!"

"Yeah, but who said I was being normal today? Let's clear it right now!"

"So, shall we throw this out?" James asked, showing Lily a black trick wand.

"No!"

"Why ever not? We've got NOTHING in the 'throw away' box! Most of this stuff is yours, too! Why did you want to clean the attic if you didn't want to clean the attic?"

"Well…this stuff has sentimental values."

"Like…?"

"You tricked me with this wand in Fourth Year!"

James looked at Lily quizzically. "So that's an excuse…though not a good one. I thought you said you hated me in Fourth Year! Why would you keep it?"

Lily blushed to the roots of her hair and changed the subject by holding up a fluffy, mocha-latte colored, teddy bear with a purple sweater. "What about this?"

James gasped and lunged for the teddy bear, his dark eyes widening. "How COULD you? You gave me this teddy bear in Third Year and then you told me you loved me! On Valentine's Day, remember?"

"No, I think I chucked it at you when I told you to get the hell out of my life."

"Same difference, really."

"Yeah…I suppose."

"Yep…"

"Hey, want to chuck this whole 'cleaning' thing and make a mug of hot chocolate?"

"That'd be nice, Lily. But Mr. Bear comes, too. I'm not leaving him in the attic!"

"…?"

"That's what it says he's called!" James said defensively. "Right here, on the tag!"

"Right then. Mr. Bear comes, too." Lily nodded, stifling a couple million giggles.

"And remember, we like our marshmallows small. NOT those disgusting huge ones. Right, Mr. Bear?" He forced the poor, innocent little bear's head to nod.

"…okay?"

Later, after three mugs of hot chocolate.

James patted Mr. Bear's head and smiled. Surprisingly, he had finished his mug of hot chocolate without spilling a single drop. Magic these days. "This is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship."
