I am re-writing this entire story. I am not pleased with how it has gone. Its become to OC. Anyways this is a new and revised chapter for Because of You. I hope you like this story better. I all slowly be re-doing the entire story chapter by chapter.

"Sakura why would you break up with me now?" Naruto asked. "You told me you loved me only weeks ago. What happened between then and now?"

Sakura shook her head, "Sorry Naruto. I tried to love you. I wanted to love you, you were the sweetest person I know. But I …" Sakura paused looking up at Naruto watching the pain strike across his azure colored eyes. "I'm really sorry. But it has and will always be Sasuke."

Naruto nodded. He has been expecting this. "I understand." He spoke, his voice barely a whisper. Giving her a forced smile he pulled her into her arms kissing her strawberry blond hair. "I understand. But it's for the best, no point being in a relationship where you cannot commit yourself to. Perhaps I will see you around Sakura."

Sakura nodded in Naruto's arms. Stepping out she kissed him on the cheeks. "Sorry Naruto. But you are my team mate, and more importantly an important friend. I hope this won't be a factor between us."

Smiling at her Naruto nodded. "Of coure."

Sakura smiled at him one last time before jumping into a tree and disappearing into the forest leaving no trace of her behind.

Naruto stood there looking at Training Ground Seven before he too jumped into a tree sprinting towards Hokage Mountain. The only place which could help soother his broken heart. The Hokage Mountain had become his spot ever since he became a ninja; not only did it help him find peace it helped Naruto feel closer to his family.

Watching the view of the village below him fluttering with nigh lights Naruto sighted. It was quite a long day for him. He had finished his Anbu mission early and all he wanted to do was relax with Sakura, perhaps take a stroll through the village but alas here he was tenser, heartbroken, and frankly pissed off.

Rubbing his temple Naruto sighted. It seemed he couldn't get relax just yet, "Come out Ino. I know you're there."

Ino stepped out from the shadows wearing a yellow summer dress with her long blond hair swaying with the wind.

Smiling she sat next to Naruto. "How did you know I was there? I masked my chakra quite well."

Naruto smirked, "I'm not am Anbu for no reason Ino. It's part of my job to detect chakra signs. Plus I had intense training with the toads in Mount Myōboku."

Ino laughed. "Right, almost forgot about that. Anyways, what is our future Hokage doing here on Hokage Mountain all alone at night? Perhaps it has to do with a certin break – up?"

Grinning Naruto replied, "Nothing gets past you does it Ms. Gossip Queen."

Smiling sadly Ino shook her head, "Not much no. But why else would our number one knuckle head be sitting here all alone? After all he is a full grown male, eighteen years old. As far as I know, most eighteen year old are trying to life skirts or staring at Hinata's chest."

Naruto stared at her. "Seriosuly? Hinata's chest. That's the best you have?"

Laughing she replied, "Sorry, first thing in my mind. Although don't tell Neji I said that. He would have both our heads, damn I've never seen a guy more protective of their sister. Well cousin in this case."

Naruto nodded. Neji was furiously protective of his soft spoken cousin even thought that said cousin could send a male in his prime to critical condition. There was something in the waters of Konoha, all the females seemed to have super strength.

Feeling Ino rest her palm on his soulder he looked at her, "Naruto," she said. "I'm sorry. I truly am."

Looking confused Naruto raised his eyebrows waiting for her to explain.

Ino sighted, "A while ago Sakura told me she was going to break up with you. I tried to talk her out of it. We all know how much you like her, plus you've been crushing on her since our academy days. I asked her to give you a chance. Personally I can see Sakura being one lucky female to have you as a partner, but she would not listen.

She insisted that she could not like you romantically. She was still in love with Sasuke. And with Sasuke back … it's been different you know. I told her to break up with you than rather than prolonging it however she didn't listen and make me promise I wouldn't talk to you about it either."

Ino paused before continuing, "What I am saying is that I should have told you. I'm sorry."

Naruto pulled her into a hug. "I know." He mumbled. "I know."

Ino held on to him tightly preparing herself for what she was about to reveal next. "Naruto," she whispered, "there is one more thing I need to talk to you about."

Naruto let her go staring intently into her eyes. "Ino," he asked gently, "is everything alright?"

Ino shook her head.

Naruto frowned, "Ino what's wrong? Did Sakura cheat on me?"

Ino smiled gently, "No, even she wouldn't do something like that. There is something you should know."

"Continue."

"Well.," Ino began "two weeks ago I needed to speak to the Elders about a recent breach in security when I overheard something."

Naruto grimaced waiting for her to continue.

"They said something like the forth being you father and it was a secret you could never find out even after you became Hokage." Ino finished looking intensely at Naruto.

Naruto relaxed. "Ino" he said, "Can I tell you something?"

"Of course."

"I already knew that."

Ino froze. "It's true?"

Naruto nodded. "Yes. A few hours after my birth my father sealed the Nine-Tails inside my body. He couldn't ask for someone else's child when he couldn't sacrifice his own. I know out through Kurama."

"Kurama?!"

"Nine-tails. Her name is Kurama." Naruto explained.

Ino gasped at him. "Naruto!" She screeched "You TALK to the nine-tailes?"

Naruto laughed. "Yes Ino dear. I talk to my host. It's the best way for me to keep the beast happy and in line. Otherwise I would lose control very quickly when using the Nine-tales chakra. Jiraiya thought me."

Ino looked surprise. "How did you find out?"

Smiling Naruto stood up, "Sorry Ino that is classified information. Don't worry for me, whatever the elders have planned they will be outwitted by me. See yah."

Ino watched as Naruto jumped off the mountain and blended into the streets looking like a small ant from where she stood. 'There is a lot more to this than Naruto is reviling.' She thought.

Feeling a migraine forming she too jumped off the mountain leaving to trace of anyone being there at all not realizing that the stars that night had aligned together. There was a new song in the wind. Change was approaching, and it was approaching fast.
