Amaya: Well, This is my first oneshot at an Air Gear fanfic. I hope you don't think it's too bad hehe. This is an IkkixRingo oneshot. It's about the fact that even though they try, they just can't get past their own obstacles. Or something like that. Anyways, Enjoy.
Disclaimer: I don't own Air Gear and/or any of it's characters. T.T

Ringo looked at Ikki. Up in the sky. He always looked so happy up there.Spreading his wings. She lifted her hand up but he didn't notice it. He just soared by. When did she realise she could no longer reach him?
I've
watched you
From far away.
But I've never known,
What to
say.
There they were. Up in the sky. Team Kogarasumaru. The team that everyone knew had the highest chance of reaching the top of the Trophaeum. And their leader, Ikki Minami. The Storm King of The Hurricane Road. The next legendary Sky King . That seems to be the only thing anyone ever talks about lately. Ringo smiled grimly at the thought. She knew. One day she was going to have to fight him. And they had to give it their all in that fight.
I've
always wanted you to know
My feelings for you.
But I never
really had courage
To tell you.
Ikki glanced at Ringo. He saw that even though she had her AT's on, she wasn't in the air. She was sitting near the water. He saw a glimmer in her eyes. He knew they were tears. But to him they looked like diamonds. To him, she was as beautiful as a diamond. Maybe even more.
I
never knew.
You're feelings.
What you felt for me.
Until I
felt it was too late.
He saw him then. That tuner of hers. Kanon was his name. He said that he was the only one who really knew her. Ikki resented him for that. He walked over to Ringo and put his arms around her. Of course, it was to comfort her. But Ikki still felt hurt when he saw them. Who cares about the bond that he has with Ringo? Who cares about him anyway? He looked away. He could deny it all he wanted. But he knew the truth. He cared.
I
never knew,
MY feelings for you.
I didn't realise it.
Until it was too late.
Kururu looked at Ikki. She knew he was hurting. She looked in the direction he was looking at earlier. All she saw was Kanon. And then it hit her that it wasn't Kanon he was looking at. It was Ringo. She understood that Ringo herself was hurting. But she couldn't say a thing.
I
was always aware,
that I probably had no chance.
Not
with her.
I could only watch from the backdrop.
Of course. What Ringo meant, was Simca. But maybe not only Simca. Maybe, Kururu as well. As she was going to be Ikki's tuner, she was positive. Kururu and Ikki were going to grow closer. And then Ringo stood up and Kanon stood back. Ringo joined the rest of them in the air and when Ikki saw her she just smiled. Like nothing happened. that she never showed any sign of weakness. That it wasn't tears that had streamed down her face.
But
I won't say it twice.
In fact I won't say it once.
Those three little words.
I refuse to let them leave my lips.
Ikki smiled back at her. But he knew they wouldn't be able to keep up this facade for too long. The day would come. But before that, he was going to enjoy his time with her. He was going to make the most of it.
I
love you.

Hmmm... I have a feeling that it gets a little confusing somewhere but I do hope you won't flame me for it.
