Pillar pair and AU

The one I put up failed, but perhaps this one will get some comments and such. It actually hasn't been posted on LJ yet, but I wanted to see how people liked it here. Again I don't own characters or plot of POT

Tezuka stood at the wheel of his ship. He was in his favorite place, at his favorite time. For all the time he spent on land, he had never seen a more beautiful sight then dawn breaking over the sea. The way the light reflected off the water as the sun slowly rose over it. The feeling of the wind coursing through his hair as he steered his ship for parts unknown, made him feel young again. This was the time were he felt he sail until the end of time, into lands unknown, and adventures to last a life time. He looked at the gold lit sky and smiled. It was always his favorite color. Just as it was his favorite person's-

"Glorious isn't?" said a voice from behind him. He looked back and saw his youngest crew member, Echizen Ryoma, looking at him.

"Yes," said Tezuka as Echizen walked over to him. Tezuka could not resist wrapping an arm around him as Echizen looked up at him and smiled with his dawn gold eyes.
