A/N: I got an idea of a short story, but this isn't it.

Warnings: Kinda angsty, I guess; mentions of boyxgirl relationship (I am not going to warn for mentions of boyxboy love, 'cause I'm so tired of all the homophobes in this world).

Disclaimer: Seamus does not belong to me, nor does Dean. And I wouldn't want Ginny unless it was to bash her. To me JK Rowling is the Goddess and the one who owns them (not warner bros or whatever...)

He tries so hard

Seamus tries so hard sometimes.

He tries to make people laugh at his silly jokes and antics, but they don't find it amusing. He ends up feeling really stupid.

He tries making it to class in time; he rushes through the corridors and tries to take as many steps of the stairs at the same time. He ends up in the hospital wing.

He tries to answer a question in class, but he mixes up the years and it gets all wrong and the class laugh, thinking it's a joke. He ends up laughing with them.

He tries to make Dean like him and offers Dean his cloak when they're watching Quidditch and Dean has forgotten his own. He ends up with a flu.

He tries to get Dean the best birthday present ever, but it's so hard and he ends up buying Dean papers and pencils.

He tries so hard not to cry when he sees Dean kissing Ginny in the Entrance hall, but he ends up with tears running down his cheeks, alone in his bed.

A/N: I got a review complaining about grammar and spelling mistakes. Some mistakes were pretty obvious to me when I re-read it after this review, but I guess I could've missed some, so please, if you see any grammar or spelling mistakes, do tell me so, so I can correct it.
