This is a "sequel" (well I wouldn't call it that lol) of my fic September. This is for the people who asked and reviewed. Thanks guys!

Sam glanced at the car clock on the wall of her son's bedroom and saw that it was almost two pm. She had just spent the last forty-five minutes trying to settle Kayden into his afternoon nap. She sighed as she removed her hand slowly off Kayden's belly and slipped it back through the bars of the cot. She stood up and stretched and quietly picked up the chair and moved it back to its original spot. Leaning over into the cot once more she pulled the light air blanket up to Kayden's tiny waist. She stroked his hair before she grabbed the baby monitor and left the room, quietly shutting the door behind her.

With Mia still at pre-school and Kayden finally asleep Sam decided to find Jack. He had taken holidays for a week to spend time with Sam and the Kids before he had to fly to Colorado for a week. Knowing exactly where Jack was she headed for the downstairs lounge room. Sam made her way down the stairs and into a silent lounge room, and no Jack.

"Jack?" She called, softly as not to wake Kayden.

"Jack?!" She called louder and still there was no response. She made her way around the bottom half of the house. She made her way into the living room and looked out the window. Jack's car was still in the driveway and his cell and wallet were sitting on the entry way table. Sam turned back around and headed for the stairs. She turned around as a faint thumping could be heard from the Garage. Cautiously she walked over the garage door and silently opened it.

I had a friend was a big baseball player
back in high school
He could throw that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool boy

Sam instantly recognized the lyrics. Bruce Springsteen she thought. Jack's in here. She looked around for him in the large garage. She made her way around her old Motorbike, a number of children's toys and over to where the tinkering of tools could be heard. She then heard Jack in his best impressing of the Boss.

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
Glory days, glory days

Now I think I'm going down to the well tonight
and I'm going to drink till I get my fill
And I hope when I get old I don't sit around thinking about it
but I probably will

Jack then appeared out from underneath his motorbike. His grey hair sticking out at odd angles and grease was smeared on his face.

"Sam?" Jack asked his eyebrows shooting up. Sam couldn't answer his as she stood there shaking in silent laughter.

"What?" he asked standing up and wiping his hands on his torn pants.

"Don't like my Boss impression?"

"Oh I love it" She said her eyes fully of tease.

"I'm glad." Jack responded.

"So can I call you 'The boss' now?" She asked with a chuckle. Jack narrowed his eyes at her.

"If this gets out-"Jack said with mock anger.

"I know, I Know. I'll pay for it later... and looking forward to it."
