Chapter 1
The Girl in the Iceberg
(Katshi and Song, brother and Sister, were going out for fishing ner their home at the Sourthern Water Tribe. Song trying to pay attention at the water, Katashi water bended a fish out the cold water.)
"Hey! Hey Song! Look at me!"
"Be quiet! I'm trying to catch our dinner. But I can't if you keep annoying me!" Song yelled.
(Without knowing it their boat was caught in a strong current and smashed into a piece of ice.)
"Great! Now we're stuck here! If it wasn't for you and your stupid needs. Leave it to a guy to mess everything up. (Kidding guys rule but anyhoo)
"Oh so now it's my fault! You know if you didn't want me here you could've told me to stay home!"
(The waves began to crash as Katshi's anger grew until a giant iceberg emerged from the depths.)
"Wow." Katashi said looking at the huge thing. "Lets go!"
"Wait I- fine." Song said trying to keep up.
"Look there's a girl inside!" Katashi exclaimed.
"That's impossible th-." Song said as she saw it. "What do you know there is one."
"Here gimme that." Katashi said reaching for Songs club. He began swinging at the block of ice. Until… the block exploded into a beam of light. The girl rose from the ice. Her eyes glowing, then they stopped and fell forward.
"Look what you did now!" Song exclaimed
But Katashi didn't here and rushed over to catch the girl. He held her in his arms for a moment and then she woke. Beautiful grey eyes opened as she stared at the boy holding her. They both stared at each other waiting for someone to say something.
"I need to ask you something." The girl said.
"What?" Katashi replied.
"Come closer."
"What is it?"
"Will you go penguin sledding with me?"
"Uh sure?"
"Wait, who are you?" Song said a hand on her hip pointing the spear as a very long finger.
"I'm A-ah-ah-achoo!!" The girl had sneezed. "I'm Ai!"
"Oh wow you're an airbender!" Katashi exclaimed.
"Yes sir!"
"Wow alright forget you all I'm going home." Song said taking a step but realizing they were on an island of ice.
"If you guys are stuck Appa and I can get you off!" Ai suggested.
"Wow thanks!" Katashi said running over without thinking.
"Uh…" Song began but gave up and climed onto the 'she bison'
"C'mon Appa, Yip yip!" Ai said.
The bison began to run, jumped, and fell with a thud in the water. (Don't ask how you can thud in water.)
"Wow…" Song said unenthusiastically.
"It's okay." Katashi said.
They began to sail along in the water but after about an hour or two Ai fell asleep.
"She's cute." Song said out loud.
"Um…?" Katashi looked quizzically.
"I'm saying for you little bro." Song said will jabbing an elbow into Katshi's side.
Katashi just shook his head lied down smirking as he fell asleep. He said to himself, "Yeah she is…"
