AN: This is just me have fun with them and I hope that you enjoy this little poem. I will not usually write poems and this came to me when I was on break at work in the middle of the night and I had to write it down. I wrote this for my peace of mind and hopefully for your enjoyment. Tell me what you think!

Unwanted as it is

It still exists

This warmth inside me

A fire lit deep within

To the core of my soul

I feel it

Coursing my veins

That for so long I had forgotten

Forgotten the life-pumping organ

This heart

So long buried under hate and contempt

After the pursuit of my bittersweet love ended

Rather abruptly in a flash of green

Ironically, the one that feeds this heart

Has eyes so green and pure

The same colour of that curse of green

The curse that cursed her out of my life

Painfully aware

Of those eyes watching

Pulling myself from my skeletons

Contemplations of these

Are better saved and stored away

So I can clean out this proverbial closet

At a later date

My skeletons and I shall meet

A final time to be put to rest forever

I quietly surrender

To the one that makes me feel

With these eyes of green

I let myself love the colour and love my lover

And be swept away in a sea of peace and feelings
