Summary: After a misunderstanding concerning their first kiss, Kanda unwittingly breaks Allen, in the process finding that maybe Allen wasn't as perceptive as he'd assumed with his emotions. Will he be able to bring the Allen he loves or will they both fall into the abyss?

Author's Note: Just found out that the official spellings for name's are- Kanda Yu, Lenalee Lee, and Lavi. XD Almost like they knew of the fanfiction spell offs, ne? (But you can spell it however you want. So long as the writing's good, no one ought to stress the details, right? ….Wish I could say that spelling would save my writing, though. XD)

Because Allen Walker was not made of stone, unlike some other exorcists he could mention, he was finding it harder and harder to resist Kanda. And could you blame the boy? Being constantly in such close proximity to someone you're so obviously attractive to; well, simply put, it's a wonder he didn't break before now. It was really Kanda's fault. He should've been perceptive enough to realize this was going to happen and got out of the line of fire.

Or, that was Lavi's reasoning as he watched Allen reverently press his lips against Kanda's with his eyes tightly scrunched shut as he pulled away from the other man.

Allen couldn't even seem to make himself look at Kanda. He was quite obviously mortified and just sat on the bench, his fists clenching the fabric of his pants desperately. He open his mouth once, twice, to apologize but found the words lodged permanently in his throat, fought down by the tears burning in his eyes.

He stood up abruptly to leave, nearly knocking over the table in front of him, and made a mad dash for the exit.

Lavi just gaped at him as he watched his mad dash of a retreat and turned back to see Kanda calmly beginning again on his food.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Lavi demanded of him angrily.

Kanda looked up disinterestedly to reply: "I'm finishing my dinner, idiot."

"But- But Allen just kissed you!" he sputtered back.

"So?"

"Aren't you going to confront him? Give an answer to his affections?!"

"I didn't push him off me when he did it nor did I yell at him for doing it. Even a beansprout like him should realize what that says."

"Er…what does that say?"

Kanda's eyes widened imperceptibly at this. Lavi and Allen thoughts often seemed to fall on the same wavelength, so if Lavi had no idea what his (lack of a) response meant, than that probably pointed to a clueless, and quite possibly heartbroken, Allen. With this realization, he calmly put his own eating utensils down and began on his trek to find Allen, hoping that he didn't get the wrong impression.
