A single orange leaf landed on Dimentio's forehead as he and Mimi laid out under a tree together. The little green girl was resting her head on Dimentio's leg and a sketch pad was in her hands. From the looks of it, she was drawing another picture of Count Bleck. Dimentio sighed and stared up at the clear blue sky above him. How he longed to see that sky become a shade of crimson red...

"...Dimentio?"

"Hmm? What is it, Mimi?"

Mimi held up her sketchpad and asked, "Do you think Count Bleck will like this picture I drew of him...?" Dimentio took the pad and stared at the picture for a few moments. It was actually pretty good, but Dimentio did not want to help encourage any feelings Mimi had for Count Bleck, so he tossed it back on her lap and replied, "...It's fine, I suppose. Not great, but it'll pass..."

Mimi stood up and glared furiously at Dimentio. She tossed her sketchpad down on the ground and shouted, "Grrr...Dimentio, why are you always like this? You treat everyone like dirt...including me..."

Dimentio's face remained emotionless, but he stood up as well and wrapped an arm around Mimi's frail body. He leaned in close and his hot breath brushed against Mimi's skin gently, sending shivers up her spine.

"That is not true..." he purred, "I know you've been considering revealing my plans to Count Bleck, yet I haven't eliminated you for that yet...you should be thankful..."

Mimi's eyes widened in horror. She hadn't expected Dimentio to have known about that...what else could he possibly know about her at this very moment? 'I can't let him see weakness in me...I need to be strong and act confident! I won't be broken down so easily!' She thought as she swallowed her spit and put on a tough face.

Suddenly, the two-faced jester burst out laughing. It was a soft, quiet laugh, but it was still the kind of laugh you used when you were upsetting other people for your own entertainment.

Dimentio almost doubled over from laughing as he exclaimed, "Oh god! Wa ha ha! Ah...Mimi, you should have seen your face! You seriously believed me just then, didn't you? Ha ha ha ha!"

Mimi let out a sigh of relief. 'So...he was just joking there? Crazy bastard...' she thought as she reached down and tried to grab her sketchpad, only for Dimentio to pick it up and hand it to her himself. Smiling, he kissed the green girl on the forehead and said, "Sorry about that, Mimi. You know I just love joking with you..."

"You're such a jerk, Dimentio!" Mimi snapped with her cheeks glowing red with embarrassment. Dimentio smiled, wondering if Mimi really could comprehend how much he really did know about this young girl and her past.

'As much as I love her, she still needs to die...my plans for destruction require it to be so...I hope she'll forgive me...' Dimentio thought, and his unnerving grin seemed to falter for only a second. However, Mimi was too busy humming to herself to notice this sudden display of unhappiness.

As the wind began to pick up and more leaves started to fall from the tree, Dimentio and Mimi decided to warp back to Count Bleck's mansion for their next job in stopping Mario's progress...

A/N: Tell me, anyone; how well did I keep them in OC? I'm really trying my best so that people won't hate me or my fics anymore...
