A/N: I was having difficulties getting the story off the ground from where I had originally started it so I decided to look it over again and rethink the way I started it. I like this way alot better and I know the general direction I want the story to take. The good news is I'm out of school till the 5th of January so I'll try to update as often as I can.

So, obviously if you're reading this you have at least a level 13 clearance and know all about Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women and the Blackthorne Institute for Boys. But, I doubt you've heard the entire story from one of the Morgan's involved. That's where I come in. I'm Cameron "the Chameleon" Morgan, or Cammie for short.

My friend Rebecca Baxter, or Bex, had spent the entire summer with me at my Grandma and Grandpa's house in Nebraska. While we were there my Grandpa suffered a stroke that caused him to become a paraplegic, so my aunt Jolie came to live with them. Space needed to be cleared for her to live and for medical supplies so my grandma put Bex and I in charge of cleaning out the attic.

I found a box that said Cameron & on it. The other name was crossed out. Bex and I pondered over it for weeks. Normally we would just take the box to one of the labs and analyze the amount of pressure put on the cardboard. We never opened the box for some reason. Eventually we asked about it. My grandma got all defensive and told us she would handle this box. A week later it was in the trash, empty. Bex cut the writing off and we stuck it in her bag. Summer Vacation ends tomorrow. Yesterday my mother, the headmistress at Gallagher Academy, called us.

"Cammie? I wanted to talk with you before you leave for school," my mom said over the phone. She seemed upset or worried.

"Yeah, ok mom I'm sort of in the middle of packing and Bex and I have a special dinner planned for Aunt Jolie and Grandma and Grandpa," I said, the phone pressed between my ear and my shoulder as I stuffed my clothes into my suitcase.

"Well I wanted you to know that you won't be returning to the Gallagher Academy this semester. Niether will Bex."

I stopped packing. "Mom, what are you talking about. We can't go anywhere else." The realization hit me. "Unless, unless. Mom, please say we're not holding an exchange program again."

"Oh honey we are!" she sounded so excited. "Four girls from each grade are going to spend the first semester with the boys!" I groaned. "Cheer up sweetie. Bex, Macey and Liz are going with you to represent the Junior class. But I want you to keep in mind that even though I love you I've had to keep secrets from you. You may not know it but I think you're about to meet one of those secrets."

I couldn't comprehend half the things she was saying. I sat down on the blue and pink checked bed-spread that covered the small twin sized bed I'd been using for the last three months. "Yeah ok mom. I love you to. Wait, when will I get to see you again?"

"Mr. Solomon and I are coming with you guys. We'll still have our normal Sunday night dinners. Don't worry about our school, the other teachers will have it under control. Bye sweetie." She hung up.

Bex walked into the room. I still had my iPhone up to my ear. Slowly I let my hand dropped and clicked the end button. "What's wrong Cam?" she asked seeing what I imagined was a horrified look on my face.

I looked at her and said, "We're not going back. We're going there."
