Hello, people! It's been a while since I've done some BA work, so at the persistance of InfinityStar and The Confused One, I finally gave in. This is the first of several (I dunno how many there are) oneshots revolving around prompts. So be expecting several more very soon. The prompt for this was, "Well, it is medicinal." Enjoy.

Alex Eames was furious. No, she was beyond furious. She was so angry as she laid on her stomach in her bed, unable to move. The pain was almost too much to bear, and she was fairly certain that they would find her body in a few days.

She was desperate to roll over onto her back, but she knew that if she did, it would only increase the pain. So she remained on her stomach, miserable and almost sick.

There was a light knock on the door, and she swore. Whoever it was could just go to hell right now.

The knocking persisted, and finally there was a click as the tumblers in her door turned, unlocking the door. She listened, tense, as someone shut the door, then crept through her apartment.

"Eames?" the worried voice called, and she relaxed before tensing again. Bobby... Of course he would use that damn key to let himself right in. And while she didn't have a shirt on! Damn it all to hell!

"What do you want, Goren?" she called back, and the door of her bedroom cracked open.

His curly head appeared, and he chuckled. "Deakins sent me to check on you," he explained softly, holding a brown paper bag.

She glowered as he eased himself into her room. But her curiosity was roused by the bag. "What's that?"

He reached in and pulled out a piece of an aloe vera plant. "I thought... this might help."

She looked at the green leaf he held in his big hand, and she did her best to shake her head. "No, Bobby. Don't come near me with that."

He edged closer, setting the bag down and taking out a knife. "Well, it is medicinal..." he said softly, cutting the leaf in half with a knife. "It will release the heat and help your sunburn."

She sighed heavily. "Bobby..."

"Please?"

She buried her face in her blanket and nodded her silent consent. He sat down beside her and gently began rubbing the cool insides of the plant against her inflamed skin, making her jump and swear.

"I told you that you would need sunblock Saturday," he admonished gently, and she lifted her head.

"Go to hell, Goren."

He chuckled and continued to rub the plant along her reddened back. He had told her...

The End

A/N: (grins) I'm from Florida, the sunshine state, so I know all about sunburns and how bad they suck. It is horrible. Good thing Alex has Aloe Vera, and Bobby... Please review!
