Why Rosalie really hates Bella…..

This day seemed like any other day for the Cullens. As usual Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Alice, & Edward were all sitting at there lunch table each with a tray full of food that they would never eat. Rosalie was looking at her reflection. Emmett was determined to have a rematch fight with Jasper when the school day was finished. Jasper was thinking about just how thirsty he was. Alice was trying hard to see the future. & then there was Edward. Who was trying to tune out everyone's thoughts that he was hearing in his head.

For some reason, something made Emmett suddenly snap out of his inner thoughts & look up to see what other than his brothers and sisters were surrounding him. That's when he saw her for the very first time. In years she was the palest girl he had ever seen. She was brunette & was simply gorgeous. In his eyes, she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen, and that was including Rosalie….

No! Emmett thought in his own head. He had Rosalie. Rosalie was beautiful. He didn't even know this girl. Besides, he was a monster. A vampire. This girl was a Human. He couldn't be in love with a human. Especially when he was supposed to be in love with Rosalie! He would have to keep this a secret from his family. He could stay away from this girl & everything would be fine. No one would ever know about his secret obsession with the brunette girl.

Unfortunately, he wasn't the type of guy to keep his feeling within. Every thought Emmett had, he would put in action or for everyone to see, like a showcase. This was the first time he would ever have to keep a secret from his family. More importantly from Rosalie.

Later that day….

"Hey Emmett…." Edward Said. "Can I have a quick word?"

"Sure," I said. "Why not?" I shrugged. "Look," said Edward. " I didn't mean to intrude earlier, you know I don't mean to…. & I know its none of my business but…I heard you thinking about….well that new girl today." Shit. I had totally forgotten for the last few hours about how Edward can hear are thoughts. I obviously have know but, still, great now he knows everything. So much for keeping a secret from my family.

"Edward, please don't tell Rose. I beg you. I don't even know the girl's name. It's just…."

" Emmett…Her name is Bella. She's chief Cullen's daughter & only family. She just moved to forks. She's human Emmett. Human. It can never be. Even if there wasn't Rosalie. It just…. You know why. If she ever was to discover our secret….It would ruin everything Em."

Suddenly, there standing not even 8 feet away was Rosalie. Whom had been close enough to hear every word of the conversation.

"I can't believe you Emmett. After all we've been through together. You don't even know this girl. You…you…"

"Rose, wait!" Emmett cried as he saw her turn and run.

"Let her go. She'll come back. Don't worry about it Emmett."

"You….you….you heard her thoughts, didn't you? You must have. Why didn't you warn me? Your supposed to be my brother! All you had to do was say something!"

" Emmett. Wait! I didn't even hear her!..."
