"Gaaaarrryyyy! DIIIINEEERRRR!" Spongebob yelled from his spot next to Gary's bowl. He was covered in flour, holding a wooden spoon.

Gary slithered up to his food bowl. "Meow?"

Spongebob laughed. "No, Gary, it's not, I threw that away. Sandy said it was rotten." He gasped, "Sandy! I almost forgot! I have a karate

date tonight!"

"Meow?"

"Yeah! KAR-AH-TAY!" His karate gloves appeared as he sliced the refrigerator in half. "She better be prepared, because this time, I'M GONNA

GET HER GOOD!" He smiled naively at the thought. "So I gotta get goin', Gare-Bear!" He zoomed out of the kitchen into the living room and out

the front door. "Don't forget to feed the plants!" Spongebob yelled on his way out.

"Meow..."

--

Spongebob raced up the path to treedome. He put on his water-helmet and let himself in, it was strangely quiet. He stood there a moment,

listening, then, he heard music coming faintly from Sandy's tree. Spongebob walked to the large Oak tree and peeked in the front door, he

could see straight to the kitchen, Sandy was halfway obscured by the wall. Spongebob walked in through the door, (Thanks Miss Obvious)

and went into the kitchen, Sandy, who was chopping up bell peppers, still didn't notice Spongebob. He briefly considered sneak-attacking

her, but decided againt it at the thought of the knife. He cleared his throat, Sandy turned around,

"Spongebob! I didn't even notice y'all standin' there!" She blushed, and Spongebob noticed something for the first time,

Sandy was really pretty, he quickly shook the thought, Only boys who love girls should see how pretty they are! Even in his naivety,

there was a tad of wisdom.

"Just give me a couple of minutes, I gotta finish choppin' up these veggies, then we can play!" She said, smiling.

"Here! I can help!" Spongebob smiled his sweet smile. Sandy hesitated at the thought of a knife in Spongebob's hands, Oh, well,

he ain't no young 'un, he can handle it!

"Shoot, thanks Spongebob!" She handed him a knife and a couple of turnips. He grinned and started chopping up the turnips.

"Uh, Sandy?"

"Hmm?" She didn't look up.

"Sandy..." His voice was more urgent this time, she looked up.

"Oh my gosh, Spongebob! Are you okay?!" His middle finger was streaming blood. She grabbed the first aid kit of the top of her fridge.

Soon the injury was treated.

"All better?" Sandy said, sitting next to him on a couch in her living room.

"Yup!" Spongebob said, his eyes were still a bit red from trying not to cry. Sandy smiled, picked up his hand and hesitantly, kissed his

finger. Spongebob's eyes widened as she put his hand down, the spot where she had kissed tingled, and he sorta...liked it.

"Um, Sandy?" He said, eyes still wide.

"Yeah...?" She said, nonchalanced.

"My forehead hurts..." He wasn't exactly sure why he said that, Sandy looked at him for a moment, puzzled, then shrugged and leaned over

and kissed him on the forehead. A thrill of pleasure ran through his body. Sandy had noticed something too, though she didn't quite know what

it was.

"Hey Spongebob?" Sandy picked at her tail, not making eye contact.

"Y-yeah?" Spongebob was breaking through his bubble of innocence.

"My lips hurt..."
