Shel'na Kryhas
Bodies, ruins, broken robots,
That's what we stand beside.
Those who are not present here,
On Shakuras they do hide.
...
Death runs rampant, unabated,
Sealing all our fates.
Courtesy of the zerg invaders,
The objects of our hate.
...
Some of us dream of prior days,
Of glory now long gone.
The cries of our once fair home world,
We hear its mournful song.
...
The xel'naga, our creators,
Did they know what they had wrought?
Pitting their two pet creations,
In a fight still being fought.
...
Night is falling on our land,
Like zerg eyes it is black.
Swarming across this once proud world,
To which there's no going back.
...
Every time we thin their numbers,
We gain satisfaction.
Both races standing on the brink,
Competing in war's traction.
...
Together we stand against the zerg,
United one for all.
As long as Firstborn walk this world,
Our spirit will never fall.
...
The Tal'darim have abandoned us,
But we shall not give in to hatred.
We must concentrate on our task,
Our focus unabated.
...
Blood runs across Aiur's fields,
Down to its river beds.
It will not cease until every zerg,
Is well and truly dead.
...
We stand as one, we stand united,
Though we are not many.
We must endure, move like a river,
Down to current and eddy.
...
Though our world has been ravaged,
We shall remain as wards.
Doing battle with all our arms,
From psionic blade to sword.
...
Unlike those who chose to leave,
Those who were once friends,
We shall purify this world,
Until the very end.
...
Can we achieve victory?
Frankly I'm not sure.
But we are the Shel'na Kryhas,
And as such we'll endure.
