I feel his heart as it races.

I smile at the feeling of being close to him.

Nothing ever made me feel this way.

With him it's something new everyday.

I sighed in sated content as I laid curled up next to Fang. The sheets were twisted and wrapped around our naked bodies. I sighed again, a small smile on my face. His hand moving gently like a feathers touch up and down my arm. His heart beat is calm and relaxing, his breathing slow.

I sense the love as he holds me in his arms.

He keeps me safe from all harm

Never letting go

Not afraid to show

I remember all those years on the run, how whenever something felt hopeless I could always turn o him. He let me cry on his shoulder when I lost Ari and he always helped me throught the hardest times. I always felt so safe in his ams. Like it as so natural to be there.

I thought I would loose him. Every time I turned him down or ran away. I thought for sure he would give up on me. But he didn't, he waited for me, just like he always does. He knew I loved him, he knew.

He told me once that I was the greatest thing that's ever happened to him. My heart swelled with joy when he said that.I never knew such simple words could make me so happy.

Fang shifted on the bed to face me. I looked into his eyes and smiled, he smiled back.

"Perfect." he said. I blushed. He pulled me to his chest in a strong, warm embrace.

"I love you." he said.

"I love you ,too."
