"You love me, I can feel it. But the feeling isn't mutual. I'm sorry."

"Jasper, no!"

"Good-bye, Alice."

"What happened?"

"He's gone."

"He'll be back."

"No, Edward! He won't! I can see it! Not anytime soon."

"Alice, calm down, you'll be okay."

"I loved him."

"I know…"

"Why did he leave?"

"I don't know, Esme. Alice won't talk about it."

"There must be a reason."

"There is, but she won't tell us…"

"WELL GET HER TO, DAMN IT, CARLISLE!"

"I will not force her to tell us something she is not ready to share."

"I've almost lost one once, Carlisle. I refuse to let anything happen to Jasper."

"Everything will be okay…."

"What did you tell them?"

"I didn't tell them anything. I just left."

"They'll go looking for you."
