Temptation
Vice and sin, degeneration,
They've breached compassion's gate.
Civilization's been lost to war,
The new given of fate.
...
Men and women, children too,
They've fallen to greed's crime.
At this rate our cruelty will,
Continue for all time.
...
Alchemy has lifted man,
To Weyard's golden throne.
But separate from the natural world,
He now stands alone.
...
Psynergy is now a curse,
Corrupting all that's fair.
The destruction wrought by rampant power,
Has gone without compare.
...
Some people have bowed down their heads,
But we sages say no more.
We will not forsake our once fair world,
To carnage evermore.
...
Now is the time, we must depart,
To retrieve creation's stars.
In Sol Sanctum they will be sealed,
Protected by light's bars.
...
And though hard times do lie before us,
From conviction we're not withdrawn.
Alchemy must be removed from man,
If a new sun is to dawn.
