"What is that?"

"What is what?"

"What is that thing you're eating?"

Shishido stared at the bowl in his hands and raised an eyebrow at his boyfriend's question, "It's a sundae, obviously?"

It was now Niou's turn to stare at the bowl in Shishido's hands and raise an eyebrow, "A sundae? You mean... like, an ice cream with toppings?"

"Yeah...?" Shishido nodded.

"Well, that," Niou pointed at the bowl, "Does not look like an ice cream with toppings at all."

"It doesn't?" Shishido glanced down.

Niou rolled his eyes. "It just looks like a bunch of crushed ice covered with jam to me."

"Well, making sundaes had never been my forte," Shishido huffed. "It tastes nice anyway," he added, "Want some?"

"No thanks," Niou shook his head as he leaned back on the sofa. "I think I'll just stick to chocolate chip cookies." He grabbed a jar placed on the table in Shishido's dining room and opened it. He reached inside and took out a cookie.

Shishido just shrugged as he watched Niou munch on the cookie. Taking another spoonful of his 'sundae', he glanced at his boyfriend. "Why are you wearing your tennis uniform today? Does Rikkai have practices on Sundays instead of Saturdays?"

Niou narrowed his eyes at him mischievously, "Having your house so close to Rikkaidai is really handy."

"...what?"

"Today is a Saturday."

"Oi, Shishido, you're late to practice!" Atobe frowned as Shishido finally showed up at the tennis courts. "Sixty laps. Right now!"

While running his laps, Shishido spent the whole time grumbling about a certain Rikkai trickster.

It certainly wasn't his day today.

He'll have to make a metal note to only make sundaes on Sundays.
