'Forever', you said, and I didn't want to believe you, but I did.

I hate you because you promised, and then you broke your promise.

'I'll always', you said, but you didn't have always.

I hate you because I broke your promise for you.

'I'm here', you said, and then I let you go.

I hate you because there was nothing else I could do.

'I love you', you said, and I wanted you to smile.

But, most of all, I hate you because…
