A/N: It's a bird. It's a plane. It's the next fic in my twenty things series. Presenting the one, the only, Osakada Tomoka.

1. There are very few people that Tomoka actually talks to. Most people she just talks at. She can spend the entire day chatting at the top of her lungs and not say anything at all.

2. Sakuno, as her best friend, is one of those very few and Tomoka can be extremely jealous of her time, attention, and affection. If growing up in a house full of brothers has taught her anything it has taught her how to defend what is hers and Sakuno is her best friend so everybody else should just back the heck off!

3. That said, she doesn't like Tachibana An. At all.

4. She really doesn't like Echizen Ryoma that much either for basically the same reasons she doesn't like An. He's handsome and cool and all, but he's not really her type and the only reason she's president of his fanclub is because she knows that Sakuno is too shy to be.

5. She prefers her guys quiet, kind, and a little shy. In fact, she's pretty sure that if she could find a male version of Sakuno she'd be set for life.

6. When she cooks Bad Things happen. Always.

7. This doesn't bother her a bit. She and Sakuno became friends over a cooking accident that never would have happened if she'd been more skilled.

8. It involved exploding flour, excessive use of salt, and the twelfth division of the Tokyo Fire Department. The rest is too gruesome to be described in words. All either of them will ever say when pushed is that the results put Inui Juice to shame. Most people stop asking after that.

9. Horio drives her absolutely crazy. Unfortunately he also seems to have developed a crush on her and Sakuno spends a great deal of time each day convincing her that it really would be a bad idea to push him out of their third floor classroom's window.

10. Tomoka loves her family a lot, even when she doesn't particularly like them.

11. They are loud and chaotic and busy and sometimes she wishes she lived in a house where she didn't have to scream to be heard.

12. They are loving and warm and friendly and most of the time Tomoka wouldn't trade them in for anyone else in the world.

13. Tomoka is not a naturally timid individual but there are two things that she worries about everyday without fail, even if it's only for a second. Both of them involve losing her best friend.

14. One is that someday Sakuno will wander off the way she always does and end up being kidnapped, never to be seen again.

15. The other is that Sakuno will suddenly realize that she's actually pretty popular and will ditch her to find new, quieter friends.

16. She knows that only one of these fears is legitimate but it doesn't make the other one any less scary.

17. She's actually pretty disappointed when Dan Taichi loses that game against Ryoma. It would have been interesting to see how the tennis prince handled getting beaten.

18. She's also always thought that the way Dan-kun adds desu to every sentence is really cute.

19. By the time they meet again at the Invitational Camp she's had time to realize that on top of being cute he's also kind, dedicated and a great cook.

20. She asks him out right after Nationals.
