Angiris
Five but once six mighty angels,
Lead the Heavens High.
The realm opposed to burning Hell,
Above the mortal sky.
...
The Council fights against the dark,
Throughout Creation's plain.
Throughout the eternal conflict great,
The status quo was maintained.
...
A pointless war in the traitor's mind,
Thus Inarius flew off free.
And so with rogues of both the realms,
Created Sanctuary.
...
Inarius, the angel of Creation,
An embarassment to that of order.
Willingly given to Mephisto,
After the Sin War's final slaughter.
...
Yet five remain of Heaven's leaders,
Their thoughts and deeds still true.
All five continue the Great Conflict,
Have many demons slew.
...
Auriel, the angel of gentle love,
In her shines bright compassion.
In the council of the five,
She remains empathy's bastion.
...
Imperius, Archangel of war's fury,
With Heaven's fire does he blaze.
To him, demons are abominations,
And thus must be erased.
...
Itherael, angel of the Balance,
Yet to Trag'Oul no relation.
He thus does what must be done,
With little conversation.
...
Maltheal, angel of dark death,
Which rings throughout creation's air.
Gaunt and grim as ranks wear thin,
His form is never fair.
...
And Tyrael, angel of noble justice,
A warrior, one and all.
Helping many mortal heroes,
Ensuring their world does not fall.
...
These five, those of Angiris,
Lead Heaven into war.
And while the Three have all fallen,
Hell still has foes in store...
...
Vigilance remains the key,
While dark clouds cover the sky.
As evil comes to New Tristram,
To war these angels fly.
