Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Warcraft.

Short, I know, but I wanted to let everyone know that I'm not quite dead yet.

"You said that you didn't know that you were a wizard before you received your Hogwarts letter, right?" Padma was chewing on the end of her quill while they worked on the two essays they had already received from Potions and Charms.

Harry looked up from his essay and tilted his head slightly as he considered where Padma was going to go with this. "I didn't know anything about the wizarding world but I did know that I had magic. I learned to control my magic from a young age. I have never needed a wand and have never needed to use incantations to get the desired effect."

Padma's eyes widened slightly and she leaned forward slightly. "Wandless magic isn't even taught in Hogwarts anymore and we won't learn silent casting until sixth year in defense. How did you manage both before even knowing that you were a wizard?"

Harry finished the last few sentences of his Potions essay and set it aside to dry as he thought about the best way to answer. "There is a study that they did in the muggle world. For all recorded history, no person could run a mile in less than four minutes. Everyone said that it was completely impossible to beat the four-minute mile. Then one year a man beat the four-minute mile by two seconds and everyone heard about it, in the remaining few months of that year over half a dozen people beat the four-minute mile too. The next year even more people beat the four-minute mile. There is nothing truly holding anyone back from doing something other than their own mind. If you are completely convinced that you can't do something, you can't do it. I never had anyone to tell me that there was something that my magic couldn't do, so there hasn't been anything that I haven't been able to do with it yet."

A rather loud huffing noise sprang up behind one of the shelves before the bushy haired Gryffindor came around with a rather large tome clutched to her chest. "There is nothing in any book that I've read so far that supports anything like that. Our magic needs to have a focus to properly channel it out of our body which is why we get a wand when we reach eleven and our cores reach the proper maturity level to begin training. You can't go around spreading lies like that just because you are powerful enough to do something that the average witch or wizard can't do."

Harry could feel the migraine starting to build behind his left eye as he tried breathing through his nose to calm down. Years under the Dursleys had made him somewhat aggravated by people that couldn't see anything beyond what they read or were told. "You are entitled to believe whatever you wish to believe but you do not have the right to call me a liar just because my beliefs do not match yours. In addition to that, this conversation was between Padma and myself, you were not a part of this conversation and I would prefer it if you removed yourself from it now."

The bushy haired girl looked like she was ready to throw the book at Harry before glaring and taking off out of the library like it was on fire. Padma shook her head before sighing. "That is one of the reasons that most pureblooded families don't like muggleborns. They either try to bring everything they remember from the muggle world into ours thinking that it should be the same or they take on a desperate personality where they try to prove that they are better than purebloods in every way. My family is rather on the fence about it, we think that they deserve to be a part of the wizarding world, but we think that they should be brought up learning about our world so it isn't a culture shock."

Harry rolled his head on his shoulders and propped his head onto his hand before a slow smile worked its way onto his face. "It would be a good show of talent and knowledge to have an entire House that could do the 'impossible', right."

Padma smiled and leaned over to snatch Harry's completed Potions homework before sliding over her completed Charms work. "I think that all of the members of our House would jump at the chance to learn something new and quite a few of the upper years would love to have the edge for their exams."

Harry started on the Charms work, using Padma's as a guide, while he thought about the particulars of the process. "I think that I'll teach you to let go of this whole wand and incantation thing first and then we can work our way through our year before tackling the upper years. The upper years have been almost completely conditioned to using their wands and spells so they will need more people to help them get it. If we do this right we might be able to get the entire House by the end of the year."
