It was the dead of night; the sentient (well, just barely) blob known as B.O.B. was snoring. A shadow detached itself from the overall gloom, a needle in its hand. Bob didn't even feel the needle go in. The shadow departed to wreak vengeance on its next target.

The next morning:

"AUHHH!!! I'm... I'm... ORANGE!! IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!"

Bob couldn't understand how on Earth he had turned orange, but he did know one thing... it was the most horrible color he'd ever seen.

Suddenly another scream was heard, "NO! NOT PINK! ANYTHING BUT PINK!!!!!!"

Susan couldn't sleep with all this noise, so she poked her head out of her doorway. Bob and Link were still in their rooms screaming about pink and orange... and Dr Cockroach was sitting at the table looking quite smug.

Susan giggled, "Gregor, you didn't..." He snickered.

"Of course I did, my dear. They had it coming." The other two monsters angrily stalked into the common room. It was clear that the two, now oddly colored, monsters did not find this particular prank very amusing.

"Doc! What did you do to us?!" shrieked Link. Dr Cockroach smirked and kept his eyes on his clipboard.

"Serves you right. Picking on me is one thing, but you just had to start in on Susan…" Link glared.

"This better wash off in the next few days, or so help me..."

Bob had apparently forgotten that anything at all was wrong because he was busy eating his morning ham. Link and Dr. Cockroach just kept glaring at each other, when the doc finally kept his gaze above his clipboard. "Don't be so dramatic, it'll wash off by tomorrow." Link growled.

"It had better."

Bob looked up, a shocked expression on his face, "Why did you turn yourself pink?"

For Link, this was the last straw. "Bob, shut up."

That evening:

Susan walked into her room to change and relax. She noticed a silver gleam on her dresser, next to it was a note, a note big enough for her to read. That alone impressed her. When she read it she was overwhelmed.

"My Dear Susan,

The stone in this necklace should suppress the effects of the quantonium,

so long as you wear it.

Dr. C."

She looked at the necklace, wonderingly. It was a round, blue, shimmering stone set on a thin silver chain. Her hand shook as she lifted the delicate piece of jewelry. She softly slipped it over her head, and almost at once she began to shrink. Her hair darkened itself to a rich, chocolate brown. Strangely enough, her clothes shrunk with her and so had the necklace!

Dr Cockroach was working on an experiment when he heard the door open. Thinking it was Link that had come to give him a hard time, he snapped. "Link, if I turn around and you're standing there, you'll be known as the mauve Link for the next year and a half!" He turned around with an annoyed look on his face, which was quickly wiped off when he saw Susan shyly standing in the doorway. "Susan?" he grinned.

"I see you found the necklace I made for you." She bit her lip and wringed her hands. He walked across the room. "Susan? Are you all right, my dear?" She looked up at him with those lovely blue eyes and he nearly melted on the spot

"Yeah, it's just that... I never thought I'd be normal again and I..." She leaned forward and pressed her lips against his, as best she could. She pulled back and whispered, "Thank you." She turned to run from the room, but Dr Cockroach was too fast for her; he pulled her back into his arms and kissed her passionately.

thats all folks!
