Spoilers: Season 5
Disclaimer: It all belongs to CBS…everything…anything that ever existed belongs to CBS. I hope that covers it ;)
So I made a D/L video a few weeks ago and posted it on Youtube. Well I thought it would make for a decent one-shot to Green Piece 5X17 and decided to give another go at posting a story.
If you want to see the video you can find it here:

Thank you to: irrevocablyamanduh, laurzz, catty, Talia, Baby Jefer, fatkat, hot4cullenmen, tottalymad, Annabeth83, Little Miss Messer, and afrozenheart412. You guys gave me the confidence to post another story. So if you hate it blame them ;) Also again a story written around 1:00 a.m. (apparently the only time I am delirious enough to work up the courage to post a story ;) so grammatical errors abound…sorry!

Lindsay's eyes were drawn to the sign out side the door:
Wedding Ceremonies—Must have $25 Money Order
She quickly understood why Danny had brought her here. She felt panic rise from deep with in and feared what might happen next.
"Danny," She said simply, the hesitation in her voice clear.
Danny took a breath and began, "Look, I'm tired of bein' afraid a'right?" He turned towards her to look her more fully in the face. "You and me?" he asked motioning with his hand between them, "We make sense. 'K?" He wanted her to understand. She fought vehemently to quiet her mind as her head turned again to the sign. She wanted to hear him. She needed to. "You're everything I've always wanted. I wanna be with you and I can be the guy you want me to be. I know I can I am that guy." He paused.
Lindsay heard the emotion in his voice and saw the yearning in his eyes. He wanted her to believe him. She did.
"I know you are," she assured him.
"Well, then let's walk through this door together," he swallowed down his own fear "come on. Let's do it. Let's take dat leap."
Lindsay turned from the door to look at the man who stood next to her. The man who fought so desperately to hide who he was from the world yet stood now with her, his walls in ruins and his heart open. She wanted so desperately to assure him that she understood what he was feeling. She wanted him to know that she too was afraid of losing the one thing she had fought to keep. She leaned forward and kissed him gently on his parted lips. It wasn't a passionate kiss. It was special. It was home.
Lindsay pulled away. He wanted to be her forever. Did she believe he was capable of doing that? Could she fall again? Lindsay allowed her emotions and memories to wash over her.
The sight, the sound, the smell, the touch
Him
The safe haven his arms created
The feel of his lips against hers—soft, passionate, gentle, consuming
Her hand in his. A life line.
The banter they've shared; the smiles.
His friendship—her best friend
The chemistry; so strong, overwhelming, fun
Taking her breath away as he arrived the moment she needed him most.
The pain; her to him—him to her
The sadness
Hearing and feeling the words "I'm sorry" and "I miss you"
The forgiveness; him to her—her to him
Both fighting to avoid mistakes of the past
His hands on her body; comfort, desire, connection, family
Forever linked by the miracle they created
Their love—real, strong, flawed, needed, healing
The happiness
Her Husband.
Lindsay smiled, "You gotta money order?"
The end. Thanks for reading!
In the words of Jacob and Robert Marley of the Muppet Christmas Carol:
Jacob Marley: That was the [story]?
Robert
Marley:
It was dumb.
Jacob
Marley:
It was obvious.
Robert
Marley:
It was pointless.
Jacob
Marley:
It was... short.
Robert
Marley,
Jacob Marley:
I loved it.
