Lady Monozuki: Amazing, I wrote something other than Thrill pair. This is a random thought that came to be after re-watching Ryoma and Atobe's match in the Nationals. Basically I wrote it to make me laugh ('cause I've had a miserable week). I hope you enjoy.

They never saw eye to eye. If you asked anyone on their teams, they would tell you all about their bitter rivalry and stupid bets with ridiculous punishments. They often ended up neck and neck, neither wishing to yield. After all, their egos rivaled the size of Mount Everest. They often drove their teams crazy, going out of the way just to taunt one person. No one expected the sudden announcement that they made following one of Fuji's observations. Everyone blinked for the thirtieth time in a minute. His hand twitched in irritation. Their stares were annoying him. A racquet fell to the ground, breaking the unnerving silence.

"W-What did you say?" Oishi asked.

Ryoma rolled his eyes. He always tried to imagine what their reactions would be to the news. However, he did not expect them to be this shocked.

"I said, Monkey King and I are going out so it's only natural that we are close," he repeated.

He took another glance at their club members faces. Fuji and Oshitari looked as though they knew all along. Everyone else looked startled at the news. They obviously had not expected bitter rivals to become boyfriends in such a short amount of time.

"B-But you're always making fun of him!" Gakuto shouted.

"It's our way of flirting," Atobe said as if it was obvious to the rest of them. A few people looked as though they would faint any moment. Ryoma could not contain his smirk. The news should not be all that shocking. After all, most of them were gay or bisexual.

Fuji chuckled. "Saa, that does sound like something you two would do. So I guess this means that you two are a "royal pair" then since Echizen is our prince and Atobe is your king."

"I think that the "ego pair" is more appropriate," Oshitari mumbled.
