I've wanted to say thank you to all of you who have supported me and the story. The last chapter was written 2(3?) years ago and I still get reviews today. You guys have no idea how much that means to me and I just wanted to let all of you know that you people are the reason why I'm still writing today. You're all amazing. This story is going to be updated regularly from now on. So I've reviewed the story and this chapter is constructed from memory so I apologize if it's not that great. I've been a little rusty. :( This is a filler chapter so it's kinda short but I'm already working on the next chapter so if all goes well I'll update as soon as this one :D However, I have my exams so not that soon. :|

Amu's POV

I immediately pushed Ikuto away causing him to stumble on his glorious ass.

What?

I blinked. Okay, I did not just think that.

I faced Lulu, mentally preparing myself for an outburst that would put hell to shame. But, as she came nearer, I realized that I was mistaken. It wasn't Lulu. I just assumed that it was her because the person making her way towards me is blonde too. As she came nearer, I made out her profile. The silk golden locks of her hair, the beautiful purple hue of her sharpen eyes, the flawless skin, the long thick eyelashes and high cheekbones. I gasped as I recognized her. The person standing in front of me was none other than the famous singer, Utau Hoshina.

We stared at each other dumb founded. I was star struck and a little curious as to why she was in Ikuto's home while she looked at me like I was her fairy godmother.

"Oh my God." She whispered.

Utau dropped the handle of her traveling trolley and pinched herself then she returned her gaze to me. Shaking her head, she repeated the gesture for about two more times until she called it quits.

"I'm not dreaming." Utau remarked. "You're really here. OH MY GOD."

Utau squealed and hugged me. I was stunned.

"You have no idea how much we've missed you." Utau said as she tightened her hold on me probably leaving a bruise on my ribcage.

Utau buried her face in my neck. I blinked, still confused as hell why she was acting like I was her long lost sister. I didn't even know her other than her reputation as a singer. I felt my neck become damp and I realized that she was crying. Utau Hoshina was crying. I patted her back awkwardly, hoping to give her comfort. I realized that during this whole ordeal Ikuto hasn't made a sound. I looked at Ikuto, who was still sprawled on the floor, frantically. I was silently asking him to give me a signal or a hint of some sort as to why I was put in such a position. Ikuto looked at us with a somber expression on his face.

"Ikuto." I whispered silently.

His midnight blue eyes flickered towards me then he got up and placed a hand on Utau's shoulder.

"Utau, that's enough." Ikuto said softly.

Utau released me and I took a step back, feeling even more awkward than before. Utau sniffled and wiped her tear stained cheeks. After regaining her composure, she turned Ikuto.

"You found her. You finally found her." Utau regarded Ikuto.

"I didn't. She found me." Ikuto replied.

"I can't believe you didn't call me the minute you did!"

She thwacked him on the head.

"I told you to come here, remember?"

"Well, if I knew it was this important I would have gotten here a little earlier! You stupid idiot! You kept her all to yourself!"

"I called you, for fuck's sake."

"You should have mentioned this, for fuck's sake."

"You didn't even bring the others!"

"They were caught up in something! We don't answer to your beck and call! We have lives too, you know! If they knew it was this important they would have come!"

"Are you seriously going to go back to that again?"

While, they were having their conversation. I stood there awkwardly wishing that someone would tell me what the fuck was going on. I felt like a dumb ditzy idiot while they were talking and my head was starting to ache. It was as if I was processing a shitload of information in a rush. I finally decided that I've had enough and cut in their conversation.

"What's going on?" I demanded.

The two of them stopped their bickering and looked at each other.

"What do you mean what's going on?" Utau asked.

"I mean, why are you here?"

Utau blinked and looked at me as if I'd suddenly transformed into a cockroach. She continued staring at me as if she was analyzing some constellation that she couldn't decipher. Finally, she turned to Ikuto.

"Is she serious?" Utau looked flabbergasted.

"Utau's my sister." Ikuto replied, completely ignoring Utau.

"What?"

I looked at the two of them. They looked nothing like each other. Not one inch of their faces resembled the other. I found that hard to believe.

"Are you kidding me?" I narrowed my eyes at Ikuto.

Is he lying? They look nothing like each other.

For some strange reason, I slightly felt my blood boil. I knew this feeling. It was the feeling I got when I was feeling jealous. I was taken back. I should feel jealous. There's nothing between me and and Ikuto.

"Why the-"

"Hoshina's a stage name." Utau cut Ikuto off. "When I entered the business, I thought that it would be better that I carried a stage name instead of my real one because the company representing me belonged to my family. I didn't want people to think that I'm taking advantage of that just to be famous."

Utau seemed to have recovered from her stupor.

"But you don't look like each other." I voiced my thoughts earlier.

"I look like Mom. Ikuto's more of Dad's genes." Utau replied.

I felt myself calm down. They're siblings.

That's right, Amu. No need to see red.

Shut up, brain.

"Yes, yes, fantastic." Ikuto said. "Do recall her?" He pointed a thumb at his sister.

Ha, you just used 'sister' to assure yourself.

Why the fuck are you arguing with me, brain? Shut the fuck up. I'm trying to have a conversation here.

"She's one of Easter's talents." I replied after getting myself together.

"I know that. I mean, do you recall other memories of her? Of the two of you being friends?" Ikuto urged.

"This is...the first time I've met her."

Silence ensued after that.

"Excuse us." Ikuto spoke up.

Ikuto grabbed Utau by the arm and began leading her away to another room once again leaving me feeling like a ditzy idiot...and arguing with my brain.

.

Ikuto's POV

"Don't scare her away." I told Utau urgently.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

There's the explosion I expected.

"She acted as if she's never been my friend! She acts as if we've never gone shopping together! Every time we went shopping she would carry the bags and in compensation I'd give her about two or three bags out of the twenty she's carrying. If that doesn't make me the best friend ever, I don't know what does! Now, she's acting like she's never seen me before. She's acting like I'm a complete stranger..." Utau trailed off.

"You think this is easier for me?"

Utau's gaze caught mine and her eyes softened.

"What happened? I mean, why? How? Why is everything so wrong?" Utau asked to no one in particular.

"She works at the office with me. She's one of the producers, Utau. If I'd known she was here..." I trailed off

I would have gotten here sooner.

"It's going to be fine." Utau assured, patting me on the shoulder.

"That's what you said the last time." I frowned.

"In my defense, you agreed to it so you jinxed it. If you don't want to jinx this too shut up now." Utau replied.

I couldn't help but crack a smile at that. Utau's here. Utau and Amu spent a lot of time with each other. Something's bound to trigger Amu's memory and she's bound to believe me. If by some miracle, this all works out, I'll marry her right away.

Shit.

"I'm breaking off my engagement with Lulu." I declared.

I forgot that I was even engaged to her. I waited for Utau's outburst. Her protests and for her to reason with me. But she remained silent.

"What? No comment?" I asked.

"It's about damn time." Utau smirked.

You're wrong Amu. My sister does resemble me.

.
