Misaki usually felt invincible; naturally, since she was the student council president. This was also nothing new because she was tough and brave, admired by most girls and feared by the boys.

So when Usui came along, immediately finding a really important secret she wanted to keep from everyone, she was mad.

The boy just knew how to make her feel weak. Misaki did not know if it has something to do with his stupid smile or his teasing eyes, or even his annoyingly strong (and inwardly, she added "well-built") arms that made her feel safe but also like a silly schoolgirl at the same time.

Ugh, screw that guy.

Misaki sighed, rolling her eyes at the thought before looking around the empty student council office. Why the annoying, perverted outerspace alien was invading her thoughts, she was not sure. And as she thought more about it, the crazier she felt, only now realizing that she can see his smirking face as he sat on the other side of the room.

She blinked. Maybe it's the tiredness giving her weird hallucinations?

Yeah. That must be it.

"Misa-chan, you're acting weird," a voice said, breaking the silence in the supposedly empty room.

"GAH!" Misaki stood up so quickly, she knocked her chair backwards. Glaring at him, she yelled, "What are you doing here, you idiot?!"

Usui raised an eyebrow at her, standing up from his seat. "I've been here for a while now, Misa-chan."

"Ugh, I hate you," she said quietly, looking away with a light blush on her face.

"Aww, you wound my heart. You know you love me." Usui's smile made her heart flutter.

And in that moment, she knew for sure that she lost because yes.

Yes, I do.
