Drinkin' Thinkin'
When Gray walked into the guild he wasn't planning on staying long, perhaps look for a quick mission or simply grab some strawberry ice before heading back out. I guess in the end he wasn't in the guild for all that long but it sure hadn't gone anywhere near like he had expected. For one thing when he left the guild he thought he would be alone and well, sober.
They stumbled out together, swaying ever so slightly and leaning on each other for support. Gray wasn't sure how much he had drank, it had all seemed to happen so fast. He had walked in and she had called him over, the customary tankard of beer in between her legs. What wasn't so customary was that there were several empty ones around her and her cheeks were stained pink with intoxication. Kana always drank a lot but Kana also knew how to hold her alcohol, today it seemed to be different. Before he knew what was going on Gray had his very own tankard and was chugging the bitter contents right along with his guild mate.
Kana's skin was hot against his own and there was so much of it. Between his lack of top and her bikini top there was plenty of skin on skin contact and it sent shivers through Gray's body. Kana's hand was wrapped around his waist and her fingers moved to stroke idly at his hip, whether it was on purpose or not Gray didn't know. All he knew was that it was turning him on.
They had barely stumbled down the drive when Kana stopped them and they exchanged a sloppy kiss. It was a messy kiss tasting heavily of alcohol but both were too far gone to really mind, in fact if they had been with it enough to mind they probably wouldn't be kissing in the first place. They'd both regret it in the morning but for now none of that mattered.
Earlier that day
Kana walked down the streets of town looking in shop windows and just enjoying the weather in general. There was a slight breeze and it ruffled her long hair, tossing it around. She was looking in a store window when something in the reflection caught her eye. A familiar face that had a smile forming, she turned away from the window to call out to Macau but stopped her hand half-raised. His dark eyes scanned the area lightly but didn't land on her for which she was glad. It was bad enough seeing this.
She heard his laughter clear across the street, she always could pick it out. He drew a young woman to him, barely out of her teens from the looks of her. They exchanged a passionate kiss before disappearing into the cheap motel.
Five minutes later Kana was back at the guild, already two tankards in. The image of Macau kissing that woman was still in her mind so she grabbed a third and brought it to her lips hoping the bitter drink would erase the memory that haunted her.
