Side-story/sequel to Clutz: Classes in Tokyo U are never boring, considering how Sakura has at least one Akatsuki member in all her classes. Is it too late to transfer?

School Festival - 4

If Sakura could die from the glares sent her way during the festival, she would have been six feet under the minute the doors to the gymnasium opened.

After learning that The Akatsuki were doing a cosplay event for the school festival, women all over the city arranged their schedule so that they'd be able to go. Dates were canceled, meetings were reschedule, and classes were skipped. All for the sake of seeing their male idols dressed up in Ancient Chinese costumes.

Due to the popularity of the event, twenty people were allowed at a time to enter the gymnasium and admire the basketball players from behind velvet ropes that separated the team and the fans. They were only allowed to stay for 5 minutes before they were required to leave, which led to massive amounts of whining and complaining.

And due to some ill fate, most of the girls leaving would notice that Sakura was one of the cosplayers, and thus, see her as the lucky girl who was allowed to stay and bask in the glory of the basketball members all she wanted to.

Poor Sakura was crying deep down at the massive amounts of hate she got from the crowd. She had no choice you know? Even though she didn't care about looking at the Akatsuki cosplay, fate made it so that she had no choice but to participate in the cosplay event.

If the Akatsuki could hear her inner thoughts, their hearts would bleed if they found out how little she cared about their looks. Why did the girl they fell for have no cute and warm feelings for them? Ah, they're like high grade meat that anyone would like to eat but sadly enough, she was a vegetarian who didn't even look their way.

Deciding she needed a break from the glares coming her way, Sakura walked away from the gymnasium to the entrance, about to go to the bathroom. When she stepped out the double doors, she was surprised to see the missing Akatsuki member that wasn't on the display area that the others were.

"Kakuzu-san," she greeted politely.

Kakuzu was seated at the table next to the ticket seller wearing his cosplay outfit of an imperial minister. At the table was a money tin and to Sakura's amusement, he had even decided to take the cosplay seriously and was using an abacus instead of a calculator.

The man that looked like he could be an accountant of the Qing Dynasty gave a small glance at Sakura before turning back to the girls lined up in front of him. The line in front of him was almost as long as the line for the cosplay event itself!

Curious on what he was selling, Sakura took a glance at the table he was manning.

Photos.

Lots of photos.

It was sneak pictures of the Akatsuki members from when they were lounging around in their costumes waiting for the festival to start.

Sakura could feel a bead of sweat roll down the side of her head as she looked at the photos in embarrassment. Sasori and Deidara bickering, Hidan lounging with his robes open, Itachi and Kisame comparing their fake weapons, and Pein sitting on his throne. So this is why cameras were not allowed inside. All for the sake of Kakuzu selling the pictures himself.

He didn't sell the pictures individually, but sold them in packets of the same 10 photos that were taken of the Akatsuki members.

Sakura suddenly heard the conversation between two girls that had bought Kakuzu's photo packets.

"Aww, no bonus picture in this one."

"Yeah, I didn't get any in mine either."

"Should we buy another packet? Maybe we'll be able to win the bonus pic!"

"Sure!"

Bonus picture? Sakura looked at the display behind Kakuzu. It showed the ten photos that he had taken of each Akatsuki member and a final black rectangle with a question mark on it. The caption below stated, "Each packet has a chance of getting a bonus photo of one Akatsuki member changing into his costume!"

Sneaky… Making the women willing to buy multiple photo packets just for the chance of getting the 'bonus photo'. Sakura couldn't help but get chills down her back at the thought of Kakuzu's innate ability to earn money.

And based on what she knew about Pein, Kakuzu probably had no such 'bonus photo' of the members changing, making it that there was no such photo for the fangirls to possibly win.

Sighing, Sakura walked towards the bathroom, feeling a bit sorry for the fangirls that were stuck in the never ending loop of buying photos. As she walked, the innocent girl did not notice that she was attracting the attention of various male college students that were looking around the festival.

Whispers surrounded her but Sakura was not one to notice.

"Hey, that girl looks really cute in the robes."

"Is that Ancient Chinese cosplay?"

"I think I saw something about it in the flyer."

"Should we check it out?"

It was nearing the end of the first day of the festival when Kakuzu noted something different. Even though the customers lining up to view the cosplay were initially all women, some men were starting to join the line. It wasn't until a guy went up to his booth did Kakuzu find out the reason why.

"Uhh… Are you selling any photos of the women in the cosplay event? Pictures of the blue-haired and pink-haired girls…"

Kakuzu froze as the new potential money source was suddenly shown in front of him.

"I don't have any now, but you don't mind coming tomorrow, I will definitely have photos."

"Ok!"

And so, the DSLR would be used again.

Hello readers,

I'm a lazy person who rarely updates on the Akatsuki basketball series, so I hope my readers will forgive me OTL

The School Festival will most likely have one more chapter after this.

Cheers,
