Well, here's an old HieiKurama drabble I've had for a while. I love the complexities of their relationship. Yeah, Hiei can be a bit of a prick, but we all love him anyway. Here's just a little bit of the feelings behind that, I think, in Hiei's POV.
On one side: I shouldn't be doing this.
On the other, more powerful one: Don't think. Just do.
And it looks like that is just what his body resolves to do right now. Anger, bitterness, egos—all of them, thrown aside like the pile of clothing thrown onto the floor. He feels himself stripping off, layer-by-layer, the façade of his, that one where you think he's not quite right in the head and Hn. Serves them right. Rage, hatred, lies—cleansed from his being and all he can think about is please, touch me.
Surprisingly rough, shaky hands grasp his and entwine with his even more calloused ones. Emerald eyes pierce his soul and say without words I want you. A startled cry, a sob, a sigh, call it what you will. He does not know whose it was, only that it was there and for a brief moment he can feel all of the pain, all of the thoughts holding him back, ooze from his being and he is left stripped, bare, naked and saying will you be the one? Will this person, this delectable, forbidden fruit be the one to heal me, please, I need your help. A startled cry of realization. Now he knows it's from him—and he surprisingly finds himself too gone to care.
The emeralds are determined now, determined to wheedle their way into his body, his soul, piercing the omnipotent darkness, and he feels lips crushing his in a needy, relieved way, like this isn't so bad, and, finally. Their bodies mesh, clinging to each other like their lives depended on the way he's making me feel. The last, remnant thoughts of what if and why fly away, and all he can think about is how this feels so right and yes, touch me there and how nicely their bodies fit together as if they were made to do so.
After the rush, after the meld of their heats, as they are lying there, there is a final whisper of I love you. And, for once, I believe you.
And there it is! Please, read and review!
