What If

Percy never thought Annabeth could do anything without over-thinking it.

But their relationship was different.

Percy could tell when they kissed at random moments that Annabeth wasn't over-thinking, overanalyzing her every move. She just…went with the flow.

Percy wanted to tease her about it, but he couldn't. It was too sweet, how she didn't think too much around him.

Percy, on the other hand, was always thinking around Annabeth. What if she suddenly got tired of him? What if he accidently hurt her by saying the wrong thing? What if one of them went to fight a monster or something…and never came back?

There were so many 'what ifs' that Percy couldn't stop thinking about.

Percy wanted to be like Annabeth in their relationship: never worrying, just looking on the bright side.

But yet again, Annabeth had done something Percy could never achieve.
