This is Goodbye
"You walk out that door…Don't you ever come back," Dean gasped still trying to breath from Sam's former hold.
It was an echo of what their father said years ago, but this time…this time Sam knew, there would be no coming back. His brother would never forgive him.
Sam stood for a second, looking down at the green carpet. He looked around the room, it was a mess. There was glass from the window, and broken wood everywhere. But it was fixable, not like their once rock solid relationship.
Sam held back a sob, he had to be strong until his job was done.
Sam grabbed the gold doorknob, "You won't have to worry, once Lilith's gone….You won't have to do what Dad asked, I know…it's my time, I am a monster, I always was. I'll take care of it myself. Don't come looking," He opened the white door, holding in his tears, "I promise, this is goodbye Dean."
Then he was gone.
It took a minute for Sam's words to register.
I am a monster….take care…myself…goobye Dean…
Monster...This is gooobye…goodbye…bye…Dean…
"S-Sam," Dean whispered from his spot on the ground, "SAM!"
He called all his strength, forcing his battered body up.
He threw open the door, due to poor carpentry in almost fell off its hinges.
Outside it was dark, the only light was a fading yellow. The solitary car that was located in the lot was his own. The wind blew past his face, whispering insults. There was no one, no Sam.
"SAM….SAM…Please" The man's heart felt as through it was being shredded once again by the dreaded hell hounds.
A soft thud could be heard as he fell to his knees, "Sammy…" Tears filled his eyes, for his last link to the world, "...come back…"
The street light flickered, then turned off, much like his brother's hope had…
A wee bit dark, but anyway it's a one shot. I really don't think I'll add more. Mabey someday I'll make more, but till then as the great pig says "T-that's all folks!"
