100 words on the nose ;)

My semi-conscious, badly beaten brother is cradled in my arms as I walk up the stairs to the porch. The door opens before I can knock.

"Come in, Sam, I've been expecting you."

I smile nervously, adjusting Dean's dead weight in my arms as I follow Missouri into the house to the spare bedroom.

"Yes, he'll live, he just needs lots of rest, and no, it's not an inconvenience." She answers with fervor, before…

"…before you can ask, yup, it's an irritating habit, sorry child… and don't you sass me, Dean Winchester, your brother's worried."

I grin, feeling better already.
