Disclaimer: Let's chant a fun song. Just pretend you're at camp, and you'll catch on soon enough. Here we go! Who doesn't own Star Wars? "Aiden doesn't!" Who doesn't make any money? "Aiden doesn't!" Who feels as though their point has been made? You guessed right! "Aiden does!" See? Wasn't that fun? ... no? Oh well, you'll forgive me eventually.

Authors Note: I remember at some point reading a review where someone asked me if I was going to write any more poems. Even though I thought I wasn't, I wrote this a while back in school for Creative Writing class. I'm sure she's getting frustrated with how much Star Wars fanfiction I write in her class. Just another old poem for you all to enjoy!

~ Aiden Skywalker

Goodbye, my love.

I promise to return.

Another fight,

Victory within reach.

I won' be long,

Please remain safe for me.

This won't be my last goodbye.

The stars outside,

Glimmer over our heads.

Her moon lit hair,

With tears in her brown eyes.

My hand lingers,

Stroking her soft wet cheek.

This won't be my last goodbye.

I pull away,

This moment cannot last.

Don't pull me back,

There isn't much time left.

One last embrace,

We both know there isn't time.

This can't be my last goodbye.

I turn to leave,

The galaxy still waits.

I don't look back,

She relies on my strength.

I still worry,

She means the world to me.

What if this is my last goodbye?
