Fleur Delacour's Little Secrets

1. The first time she met Molly Weasley, she was horribly nervous which makes her snooty and stuck up, which makes people cold towards her which in turn makes her more nervous and more snooty and stuck up. But when Molly judged her not just on that but on her looks and her background as well, that hurt.

2. Fleur wanted to come to England, not just for Bill, but also for Cedric Diggory. He was the first person that she truly knew and liked that died and in a such a horrible way that Cedric did not deserve. So she came to fight so no more men like Cedric would die. That was her vow.

3. Gabrielle begged Fleur to stay and she almost forgot what she had promised. Not just because of leaving her family but because she was scared. Scared of fighting, scared of dying, scared of watching those she loved die. However when she confessed this to Bill later, he looked at her with a new respect and told her that she would have done well in Gryffindor.

4. She was popular at Beaubaxtons, but still never had a true friend. Boys only wanted one thing and girls were jealous so Fleur could never trust anyone apart from her family. She thought it could be different in England, especially with her new sister-in-law, who she treated just like her own sister. However Ginny didn't like it and she made more enemies instead of friends.

5. Up until she was fourteen, she had thought Santa Claus was real. When she had heard one of her friends ridiculing someone for believing that 'Santa was real' she found out the truth but laughed along with the rest of them because obviously if it was so ridiculous that an eleven-year-old believed that, then what would they say about her?

6. Fleur always liked Tonks. And Remus. But Tonks most of all, she didn't have to worry about her being spiteful or cruel, what you saw was what you got with her. Plus she knew how it felt to only be liked for her looks, or rather what she could look like. That kind of understanding Fleur had only found in her family and it meant a lot to her but Tonks didn't get to hear it before she died. This was Fleur's biggest regret.

7. When she was three her father arranged a marriage for her with one of his friend's sons. When she refused he looked so hurt that she almost said yes, even when she loved Bill.

8. When Fleur gets truly angry about something, she starts crying. And she doesn't cry prettily at all. It's her (in her opinion) most annoying habit.

9. After the Final Battle, Fleur comforted Bill and the other Weasleys through their grief, because she needed to be strong for them, she know she would feel that way if Gabrielle had died. But later she left them for a little while, went up to their attic with the ghoul and cried. She cried for Fred, who had always made her laugh every time she came over, she cried for Bill, George and all the Weasleys (honorary included) that had lost a member of their family, she cried for Remus, who she had always liked, she cried for Tonks who died to protect her son just like she wanted to and lastly she cried for Teddy who wouldn't ever have any real memories of his parents.

10. When Victorie married Teddy, it was the happiest day of her life. There was the boy who she had always felt was her own son now officially joining the family and her firstborn daughter that looked at him, like she had seen Tonks look at Remus, and she was sure that their marriage would be just as strong. This must have been what Molly felt when Harry and Hermione married into the family.

I've always felt sorry for Fleur, having to come to a new country, leave her family behind, only for her groom's family, at least the female side, to dislike her and make fun of her.
