"I hear people think we'll hate each other, so I think we should be friends. Want to give it a shot?"

Scorpius grinned.

"Why not?"

"I hear people think we should date. Want to give it a shot?"

Albus thought for a moment and shrugged.

"Why not?"

"Hey, Scorpius?"

"I hear people think it's weird that we don't snog. Want to give it a shot?"

Scorpius realized he'd been wanting to anyway.

"Why not?"

"I hear it feels better if you do it with a bloke. Want to give it a shot?"

Albus figured Scorpius wasn't playing fair by asking that while they were snogging.

"Why not?"

"Hey, Scorpius?"

"I hear it's cheaper to rent an apartment with someone else and I really hate living alone anyway, and there's a really nice place I found the other day, and—"

"I hear people who are serious about each other live together when they leave Hogwarts," Scorpius interrupted with a fond smirk. "Want to give it a shot?"

Albus smiled back. "Well…why not?"
