A/N: Nessa's dad is governor; they're rich. Boq's father is a wealthy banker; they're rich, and have to contact the governor a lot for one reason or another. Ashley's imagination is overactive; she likes thinking of Bessa stuff.

The two children couldn't think of a very good game to play, so they decided to make believe that they were adults.
"Madame Governor-" six-year old Boq began to say, but five-year old Nessa cut him off.
"No. Never call me that." She shook her head to emphasize her point.
"All right. I won't ever again. I'm sorry, Nessa. But I was going to ask how being governor of our country is." He scratched his head.
"It's okay," Nessa answered nonchalantly. "I had other plans, but I guess I can do those, too."
"What were they?" Boq asked with curiosity.
"I wanted to become a mama to three children," was Nessa's reply.
"Who would be the daddy?" Boq inquired. He hoped his face wasn't turning pink; he had always imagined him and Nessa getting married.
"You would be, Mr. Riddle," Nessa responded with a blush. Boq felt relieved.
"Please don't call me that. And of course I'll be the daddy." Boq smiled. "Being your husband would be fun."
"And being your wife would be fun." Nessa smiled in return.
"I've heard my mama explaining to my big sister that a mama and a daddy are made for each other," Boq said in a very serious manner.
"So are we made for each other?" Nessa asked with true interest.
"I think so," Boq confirmed.
"That would be a fun game," Nessa said thoughtfully.
"What game?" Boq asked, somewhat puzzled. I hope she doesn't think I'm stupid for not figuring out what game she meant.
"Husband and wife. We could use my dolls as the children. I don't think my sister would be willing…" Nessa said, and she giggled.
"That would be a lot of fun! And when we get older we can get married," Boq replied gleefully.
"That sounds great," Nessa beamed, and Boq grinned.
