Going back in time wasn't as fun as everyone made it out to be. At least he wouldn't be here for long, he was only delivering a message.

Naruto Uzumaki stared at the man in bewilderment, "You're seriously ok with this?"

The blond man shrugged, "At this point in time, practically anyone I met is willing to switch allegiance to Konoha because I tend to kill everyone against us."

"And you just let them?" Naruto was bamboozled. Flabbergasted. Gobsmacked. The man that was going to become the Fourth Hokage, the most revered leader of Konoha, the one single person in the history of Bingo books to have 'Flee on Sight' added to his page... was letting pretty much anyone who wanted to not die into Konoha.

Without references.

"I really don't see how it matters. If someone does something that isn't kosher with Konoha, there's no shortage of Jounin in Konoha that aren't willing to just kill them. First infraction of Konoha Law by refugee or asylum is mandatory execution during war-time."

"Holy bejeezes."

That was a law that Naruto had never heard of before. And he was the fricking Sixth Hokage. Then again, he'd never actually been to war with anyone. Madara and the Akatsuki didn't count; they were really more of a terrorist group. After defeating Madara in single combat in front of the Kage Assembly, the other Elemental Countries were more than happy to leave Konoha alone.

"Oh, I have some advice for Hatake Kakashi. I was told to pass this on by... a relative." Kakashi-from-the-future had told Naruto that there was one very important thing that he wanted Naruto to do and since Kakashi was his original Jounin-sensei, Naruto was happy enough to pass on the message.

"Kakashi?" Minato Namikaze called out to the three students who were watching from the edge of the trees.

"Minato-Sensei." Kakashi shushin'ed to Minato's side and looked at Naruto when Minato indicated that he should.

"Hi, I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I have a message from a relative of yours."

"I don't have any relatives."

"Sure you do," Kakashi in the future considered Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura plus their significant others his children and Sakura already had half a dozen bowl-cut taijutsu experts between the ages of two and ten running roughshod over her house. Neji was still sore that Sasuke had married Hinata after six years. Kakashi totally had family to spare. "So yeah, this relative of yours told me that he could see the future and to give you a message."

Kakashi scoffed. "See the future. Right. That's impossible."

"Nothing is impossible. Improbable, yes, but never impossible. Seriously. Okay, so he said, quote: 'When you have to make the same choice as your father, don't let Obito go alone. Do you remember that line your father told you: 'Rocks fall, everyone dies'?' End quote. He said to wait for you to nod," Kakashi nodded, "Thank you; Quote: 'Rocks fall, OBITO DIES.' End quote." Naruto quirked an eyebrow, "Any questions?"
