A/N:: Hey everyone. Here's a little fic about Christine & Raoul's daughter bringing home her first boyfriend? Find out! I hope you like it, this is my first writing...

Chapter One: In Which Christine's Daughter Falls In Love

Raoul de Chagny paced the floor of the mansion foyer nervously. His daughter, his precious little Danielle, was seeing a man. He was coming to dinner tonight. Like every father, he was worried about his daughter. Was he treating her alright? Did they really love each other? And most importantly, who was he? These were all questions that stormed through his brain. What bothered him the most was that he knew virtually nothing about Danielle's beau. She wanted to keep it secret until dinner tonight. However, she assured her parents that he didn't know much about her either. They hadn't been together that long...Hopefully everything would be revealed at dinner and Raoul's fears would be assuaged.

Sitting in one of the chairs in the foyer was Christine de Chagny, reading a book. Every now and then she would look up at her husband and smile a little. "I wish you would relax..You're making me nervous." she said, shutting her book and looking up at Raoul. Raoul stopped pacing and looked at Christine. "I don't mean to.." he said, looking out the window at the beautiful winter wonderland outside. His eyes scanned the street for the carriage that would bring his daughter and her mysterious friend. "You're not worried about this at all?" he asked. Christine rose from the chair and stood next to him. "I'm just as worried as you are.." she said, gently taking his hand. "But I trust Danielle...If she wasn't happy with him, she wouldn't be with him.." Raoul looked at Christine as she said this and nodded a little. "I suppose you're right." he said, mostly to reassure himself.

After another half hour of waiting anxiously and reassuring words, the clip clop of hooves could be heard faintly outside. Raoul, who had sunk into a chair, leaped up and headed quickly to the door, with Christine following. They both watched anxiously as a tall, thin man helped Danielle out of the carriage. Christine grabbed Raoul's hand. "Could you see his face?" she asked. Raoul shook his head. They looked closer. Christine noticed that the man looked uncomfortable. "He looks nervous.." she said. Raoul looked closer. When the man turned toward the house, he let go of Christine's hand. "Is that...who I think it is?" he asked, sounding very angry. Christine looked closer, disbelief in her eyes. "That's...." she said quietly. Just then, Danielle threw the door open, nearly knocking her parents over. "Mother! Father! This is Erik!" she said proudly.

Raoul and Christine stared in disbelief. Erik stood there quietly, looking everywhere except at Christine. Danielle looked around, confused. "Mother...? Father..? Is something the matter?" she asked, a little worried. Raoul glared up at Erik, who glared back. Christine blinked a few times. "No, darling...Why don't you and your father go into the other room and get dinner ready?" she said, quietly. Raoul looked at Christine in shock. After the events at the opera, did she really want to be alone with him? He reluctantly left the room with Danielle, but he stood by the doorway in case Erik tried anything. Erik finally after spoke after a few moments of silence. "I was not aware she was your child.." he said.

They ate dinner in silence that night.
