Puck and Rachel
Puck didn't know what he did to deserve this. He really didn't.
Because, of all people he could get stuck under a mistletoe with, it just had to be Rachel Berry. The girl he had a secret crush on ever since he had first heard her sing.
And the worst thing of it was that Rachel was glaring at him like it was all his fault.
Which it wasn't. Because if he had known this was going to happen he would have waited a few more moments to walk into the auditorium, which had a fake, plastic mistletoe hanging above its entrance.
The other Glee-members were all staring at them from the stairs of the auditorium. Mike and Matt even put Artie's wheelchair down to wait for what was going to happen next.
"Look, Berry, we know both we don't want to do this, so if you could just stop glaring and walk away." He nervously glanced over to the other Glee-member. Why didn't he just walk away? It was simple enough, just put one foot in front of the other. So why couldn't he make himself walk away?
"No."
Puck looked at Rachel, surprised. So did everyone else.
"Because if everyone just would walk away if they were caught under the mistletoe, there would be no meaning for it anymore. Because everybody would just ignore the rules of mistletoe. And what kind of Christmas spirit would you have if you just walk away from one of Christmas' most romantic traditions?" Puck was surprised that she said this all in one breath.
"Well, I don't really care much for Christmas really, so if you just let me walk away." That was a lie, Puck loved Christmas. It was the only time his family actually felt like a family.
"No." Rachel said again. "I won't let you walk away." Her determination sounded clearly in her voice. The silence that followed was awkward and Puck tried to find a solution for the situation he was currently in.
Because he wanted to kiss her so badly. But the problem was that he couldn't show that he wanted to, because that would blow his whole image. And he didn't want that to happen.
"Kiss me." Rachel broke the silence and Puck stared at her wide-eyed. Surely he heard wrong.
"Just kiss me." She repeated, getting a bit impatient.
Puck started grinning, who was he to deny a lady's wish? He would have his kiss with Rachel and a good excuse for if people asked about it.
So he took a step closer and put his arm around her waist. He pulled her against him which made Rachel squeal in surprise. He looked at her for a few more moments and then finally he kissed her.
He heard some Glee-club members gasp which made him realize they were still watching. But at this moment he couldn't care less. Because he was kissing Rachel Berry. And it was amazing.
And then when oxygen became a problem they finally pulled away. Just looking at each other.
"Now there's your Christmas spirit." Rachel finally said and he grinned. She took a step away from him and turned around. Puck wanted to say something, but he didn't know what.
With surprised looks on their faces the whole Glee-club watched Rachel walk away. But nobody saw the mischievous smile on her face as she did so.
